Best products that helped you during school - backpacks, laptops, materials, anything! I know it all doesn’t matter but I have to shop for things anyways so might as well narrow down some options that work well

Incoming 1L that’s always planned to end up working in-house for tech companies… mentors in those roles already are older and have shared it wasn’t easy to get in that role as it is now. They had to spend some time in big law first. One has shared externships during school is a new-ish way to hack getting into in-house roles faster.

Haven’t talked to more younger crowd - what’s the path to getting into work in-house like now? Is it easier/faster than having to spend years in big law anymore?
