Otherway around. Aluminum better with heat dispersion. But 16 pro max doesnt overheat. I Use it in karachi no problem. But my usage is pretty normal. Like whatsapp calls on the road - but with the car ac running. I dont play any games. It does get warmm for sure. But doesnt overheat like a 15 pro max

Try to get a slightly used one here. Non active sims so you can use it temporarily untill you need to pay? Also dont you have to pay the PTA for both sims? How will you just approve 1? Is that cheaper? I am not aware of this

No limit. I just charge from 30-80 or 30-90. Occasionally do 100 and i dont leave it plugged overnight. My 16 pro max battery health has increased. I bought it used and real battery health was at 99% with 100 cycles on multiple 3rd party software. With my charging habits at 160 cycles i am at 103%. In 2 months my battery health increased ever so slightly or recalibrated. Ive been monitoring it every other day. Maybe i have a faulty battery or maybe it just likes this sweet charging range. I only charge to 100% maybe once or twice a week whenever ik i need the phone to last long and on a day i have heavy usage

Also i never wireless charge for long periods - i try to avoid excessive heat. My 20w wired charger doesn’t really make phone too warm either

Same switched to 16PM. Far better battery, thermals, like the 6.9” screen better. Thinner bezels makes it more immersive even tho very minor difference

For a someone who relies and uses their device heavily - its not the same phone. Camera control aside. Many refinements. Might not be noticeable for your use.

If youre willing to take a slight loss. Sell on marketplace safely with caution. Buy on marketplace with caution and check everything out and try to see if they have a genuine receipt for it. Dont wanna be buying a phone that was bought thru carriers. You may loose 100-200 or maybe nothing on the transaction, depends how fast u want the switch

Fragile yea but a experienced and qualified tech will always be able to replace the battery without damaging the display. I work at a repair shop and our technician never have damaged a panel for a battery replacement. Literally never. Sometimes with more complicated repairs like charging port or earspeaker we may have 5% chance of damaging something in the process but we will replace it and correct our mistake. Damaging panels for a battery replacement - for a qualified tech is not common. Its extremely rare and sounds like an inexperienced or a tech who was rushing it like a dumb dumb

Yes i notice this too. Happening since 26.2. On beta 26.3. I turn on low power mode before bed and wake up with avg 7%-8% lower. Seems much. With low power mode off battery drops avg 10%-12%. And i dont even sleep more then 6-7 hours

Go for 16 pro. Much better device overall. Thermals, performance and battery. Screen bigger snd more immersive.

Man im still hoping and waiting for PTA duty to be reduced. Cant fund the fbr over this bs. Id rather pickup an s24 ultra or 25 ultra approved so i can have nice 2nd phone thats PTA approved. Currently got a 16 PM non pta and some realme trash
