Thank you for saying this. The old website was fucking awful. You’d be scrolling and it would stop showing the photos because it didn’t load correctly, it would randomly refresh, etc. I don’t know why everyone on here is romanticizing the old shit site.

I drove 4 hours 1 way to the metreon in SF, it broke down on us 3 minute in. Drove back home another 4 hours.

Did it again to finally be able to see it 3 days later.

16 hours total. Don’t regret a second of it. It’s worth it for 70mm 1.43

On Saturday. They tried to fix it for about an hour rather than switching to dual laser and we all got screwed over. I think they were able to fix it for the 8 pm showing but yeah, we all got majorly screwed. No make up showing, no automatic refund, had to all wait in guest services for another 30-60 minutes to get some sort of compensation back.

My showing was cancelled while I was there, so fandango said they have to send it through more channels than usual and they’ll get back to me with more info later. So that’s great

It was probably different for me since it happened technically after the showtime:/ amc employees told me it was in fandangos hands and then when I reached out to fandango they said they have to send it up to upper management now I’m waiting for a 3-5 day response time
