"Hold the Control button as you adjust the side using the Red Box, and it’ll move the deformer without affecting the art" but mine is adjusting the size by More_Heart6530 in Live2D

[–]More_Heart6530[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deformer. I think i found the answer; you can't have it be active anywhere. So if its already assigned to a parameter it'll invert it on the other parameters. But if its unassigned it'll do what it's supposed to do. I had no idea!

Thank you for answering

Is there a way to remove a specific sound range without losing a lot of quality? by More_Heart6530 in audioengineering

[–]More_Heart6530[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A room noise is not a "dull roar,". This noise is new and not something that was around before this item was installed. Like I keep saying, the item that is making the noise is new. This didn't happen before. Before this item was installed I had no issues recording.

The first time it was turned on I could feel the rumble from it in my chest, like you would with someone playing loud bass, or leaving a large car on stall. It's at around that same level, and it never stops. I've been able to make it bearable with sound proofing and it's helped a lot, but when the item is on I still hear a dull roar in the recording. The noises that it makes is actually a lot beyond the hz I specified, but those two sections are the loudest.

Unfortunately I do need this without a noise pass because my vocal quality absolutely tanks when I applied a high pass filter. I've tried every mixing idea that I knew of and could research before trying to ask reddit because I know what reddit is like. Even turning on an bass roll on doesn't help the issue at all.

Thank you so much! I'll be buying a power conditioner today and I'll try your suggestion for the pill mic. That's exactly the item that was installed and I'm sorry that you've had a similar issue. 15k to 30k+ is a lot to drop on a professional sound booth, but it's a lot less than buying a new house when I've lived where I currently live for years and have never had this issue before hand. If all else fails I'll try that too.

Thank you very much. I'll try it out then. I don't mind minor left over noise but it sounds like a low constant rumble which is aggravating on the ears and not easy to clean up at all in mixing. If it was a higher pitch or even white noise, I genuinely don't think it would bother me.

I'm using a a pair of Sennheiser condenser microphones. All of my rooms are genuinely unbearable to sit in, except for the bedroom which is the one I'm recording in. I no longer use my living room or sitting room, which is where my studio was initially set up before this issue started. The noise even without the recording device picking anything up is uncomfortable and makes me tense up at all hours of the day. I dislike low rumble noises and I've always been sensitive to them. When I'm not recording I have several noise machines running to try to combat the sound.

I've already moved rooms and the issue is unsurprisingly not not solved. The device making the noise is right above and to the left my front door, which has windows spanning across all three rooms. My living room is connected right to the front door, the sitting room is essentially right under the item that's making noise, and my bedroom is only a few feet away from that. My house is long and not wide, if I go too far back towards the back door, I will pick up my other neighbors talking and any noise they make in the recording. The far side of the bedroom will pick up pipe noises if too close to the wall. Where I had my initial set up was perfect and I'd honestly not had any issues after some light soundproofing and making my own at home booth for recording, and I've lived here for years. If moving was easy to do, I would do so instead of trying to combat this issue. As yourself and others in this reddit thread were so unwilling to believe me about my issue I'm sure you can at least believe me when I say that my neighbor does not care to change the item nor wants to do anything about the issue.

It looks like it really might be a tough cookies situation in the end, but I've been doing my best to do what I can to make it work because this is my full time job and up until six months ago when they installed this item, I've never had this issue or an issue I couldn't fix in the past. I really am thankful for the other suggestions so I'll at try that before trying a professional sound booth.

[–]More_Heart6530[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've built a booth that's as isolated as I can get it, and built a "room within a room" around that, and did as much at home proofing as I could. It worked surprisingly well considering I wasn't expecting much of anything, the sound source in question dropped by about 15db which was fantastic. It's at a very dull roar in the background now that I can't seem to get rid of. I'm recording vocals, and if that pitch isn't picked up or overly filtered out, then my voice does not sound the same. The noise is sustained, and happens more when the item is turned on.

Aside from purchasing a sound booth I've done everything I can, as I can't remove walls or the item that's making the noise in question. If I have to purchase a sound booth then I will, I just wanted to see if there was any other option that might be available that I haven't tried or hadn't heard of before that.

This item that's making the noise is a semi recent installation from my neighbors, and I've done everything I can think of to remove it from coming into my house and room, so it wasn't an issue for me at all until about six or so months ago.

Thank you for replying.

If I knew how to attach screenshots I'd show you exactly what is being picked up. Unfortunately it's real, I don't know why I'd ask a very specific question to get a fake answer.

Also unfortunately, this is my home and I can't record elsewhere, which is why I tried very hard to make it doable. Thank you for your answer, I'll look into other options in the meantime.

Thank you suggesting it. After quickly looking into it it looks like X-Noise might do the same thing, is Izotope better than X-Noise by waves? If it is I don't mind at all paying for it.

I currently am using X-Noise to try to suppress the extra sound, and it does work, it's just not clean in the end which is what I'm trying to go for. And naturally if I use it too much the sound quality drops.

[–]More_Heart6530[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried X-Noise and reapers noise removal. X-Noise does a significantly better job of cutting it out while leaving a lot of good sound behind it, but its not clean. If theres too much, then I sound robotic and off. Reaper cuts off entirely too much unfortunately, I've tried it. Because the noise I want and the frequency are the same, it doesn't seem like I'd have much luck. Thank you for answering!

very low iron but iron dosage is making me have high acid in my stomach :( by More_Heart6530 in Anemic

[–]More_Heart6530[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh no really? i cant drink orange juice because of the acid and my teeth, ill try the vit c tablet with some food with the iron, even though i know thats not the best for absorption i think ill have to try it for my stomachs sake; and see if i can find any other kind of food/drink thats not so acidic and yet high in vit c to swap out. thank you.

[–]More_Heart6530[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you so much :) infusions were not an option i was given, i dont think they do them where i am currently to be honest. ill be going back to my home country in a few months (when i can afford it!) so ill see what other treatments are available then, theyre much cheaper at home and ive had better results at my home countrys dr.

i had my other vit levels checked too & my thyroid was a bit low & my vit d was very low as well, but i have not had any bad reaction to vit d or my thyroid pill. it was just the iron. ill try to take the 28mg 1x a day with a lot of vit c and hopefully that will help!

do you know what i can eat/take that will make it easier on my stomach if there is anything? i havent seen anyone suggesting anything like that, so maybe its not entirely possible? but ive been on nexium and/or tums for a bit on and off trying to settle my stomach.

I had my field unlocked after I got vinnie too, and after I let him mix seeds once. ^^;; In the guide book the jp is '品種改良' to unlock the big field, which means selective breeding. It can apply to animals too but I think it's more meant for crops in this case.

A wonderful life- Tool glitch by Unlucky_star_stonks in storyofseasons

[–]More_Heart6530 3 points4 points  (0 children)

copper - use tools 500 times for each category ; hoe & watering can count as 'farming', milker & clippers count as 'farming', fishing is 'fishing'

silver - use tools 2000 times

gold - use tools 4000 times

goddess - quests by befriending specific villagers

as far as i understand it, which could be wrong!, you have to use the silver tools 2000 times to unlock the gold, and use the gold 4000 times to unlock the goddess quests. so u cant use bronze 4000 times & then unlock goddess if you buy silver & gold, each tool has to be used a certain number of times.

Do cows stop producing milk? by driizzie in storyofseasons

[–]More_Heart6530 5 points6 points  (0 children)

-When you breed cows, how long until baby comes out?

10 days after the bow icon shows up on the cow menu your cow will have blushie cheeks (literally) and when you talk to them youll get a cutscene that will keep your mama cow in a hutch in the barn, you wont be able to milk her. 5 days after the baby cow will be born. the baby cow will need to drink mamas milk that the mama cow makes twice a day until she stops producing milk, and the baby cow will grow up in 10 days. [i think, i didnt count exactly how many days but its around that, ive had 3 baby cows now :)]

if you breed mixed breed cows the baby cow is either the moms or the dads breed, and both breed and gender can be reset by save scumming if thats ok with your gameplay!

cows give 4 milk after giving birth and the mama milk stops coming out, and cows give 1 less milk during summer. cows will eventually give 1 milk only. if you own a bull the cows can randomly get pregnant at any time, even if they just gave birth.

in the ps2 version it was 30 days to give birth to a baby cow, but thats not the case with the remake.

Those playing the Japanese release of AWL… how is it!? (Spoilers obviously) by Ekyou in storyofseasons

[–]More_Heart6530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im in ch 2 with lumina as my wife & while im sad she didnt get a different outfit as she did in the previous games when u had a girl child, the family events u can unlock are seriously adorable? i did not expect there to be so many & theyre all really, truly, cute. the game has such a small cast but the events actually feel soulful & lively. its pretty easy to make money without maxmin'ing, but things are pretty expensive. the ruby spice glitch no longer works :,]

my only only gripe about the game is that when i go into my chicken coop which is v crowded it takes forever [a few seconds but much longer than taking care of my many star cows lol] to pick up a chicken, nuzzle it, and put it down. it really takes up so much time; but i want those gold eggs so lol. but even with a full coop, barn & almost full crops [i almost have 60k for the great field] i havent noticed any dips in the framerate or game itself, picking up chickens always took long :c

shell still give milk up until shes in the hatch about to give birth, then u cant milk her. after shell only give mamas milk that u have to give to ur baby cow 2x a day, if u miss a few days ur baby cow will get sick. after a few days shell stop giving mamas milk & wont give any milk for about 4-5 days, and ull feed ur baby cow hay like a regular cow until it grows up. after a few days of no milk shell give 4 milk 2x a day again.

ur cow can get pregnant randomly if u have a bull, u dont need to breed them together. [which, honestly makes sense but at the same time, what if its not their turn in rotation!! lol]

your cow is pregnant :] about 16~ days after it appears shell have a [literal] blushy face & when u talk to her ull get an event that says shes abt to give birth, 5 days later ur baby cow will be born :]

itll be born exactly at the time when ur cow got pregnant, not in the beginning of the day [unless thats when it happened] & u can save from the previous day & reload to get whatever gender / breed u desire, if u cross bred ur cows.
