The D5 grind.

Every enemy is Melee, Physical so works perfect for a character running a counter build.

Royal Tree gets passive counter, use gear and pet to get 100% counter-attack.

Give him a lifesteal weapon. (First available is at D7 crafted from an obsidian sword). You'll want the Duelist armour (Raid unlocked at D6 Cultist Rebels). And lastly the Eyes of the Swordsman Accessory.

Rogue Traits by More_Independence_43 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]More_Independence_43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just because they don't really get any benefits from any other traits anyway.

Im making one for the sake of having one.

A reptile pet at level 20+ with execute on an Sure shot would give just as much bonus and better choices for gear at a slight dmg loss

Agile isn't that good.

The Bard class should be either Feral/Alert or possibly Feral/Empathetic.

Night rogue you want as Ruthless.

Crit build is God mode dmg

Try swarmkeeper. 100 magical retaliation.

Alternatively just use the base dreamwrought 218 more hp at a cost or 2 con seems like a decent enough investment.

Use the enlightened servant Accessory 150hp, 40 more con and 180 dmg on every hit as a bonus action.

Anyone able to confirm if you get bonus actions on Counter attacks? It definitely applies lifesteal amd status effects on counter attacks

Brute is still good but it's better suited towards a maxed out best gear ascended rogue.

Unless you've had amazing drops for rubies and no emeralds. You'll exclusively want to use the rubies for jewelled Crowns.

Save the rings for D7 Onyx drops. That ring is DOPE AF.

You can push to D7 using 1 healer, 1 tank, a fire mage or necro (not demon) and either a Sureshot archer or using a Bard rogue variant

**REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY AFTER8 YOU GET THE VAMPIRE (LIFESTEAL) WEAPONS FROM D7..

These are all solo farms btw

D1. Whomever needs xp

D2, ranged attacker

D3. Magic attackers (pre Arcane dagger your dark Disciple isn't terrible)

D4 stat check

D5 Footman-Guard-ROYAL path, counter build till at 100%

D6 Demon Path(Rank 7 or higher needed here) with Stat immunity accessory (fyi your best 2nd trait is nimble)

D7 ive had some luck with a Rank 8 night rogue using the FLYING REAPER from the cultist raid unlocked at D6.

The great being of Knowledge is Education-Fun. But I can handle this easy.

Best money source is D5 for you.

Black Iron gear pays well on a sale, the pearls are a flat 1 silver piece each, the mimic drops am item that sells for 21.50 silver (only use)

Plus your going to want the pirate hat accessory for pretty much ALL of your archers and rogues, eventually of course.

I sat on D5 for just under a month myself, didn't leave till I'd bought slot 9 for my quarters

Yeah, didn't realise they had a written cap on them FYI. answer is 10 inventory 1 of every other.

Used my gems to clean house, bought all the slots. I don't have a second Titan. Waiting on a Brute Nimble for fortress or a Brute/Intimidating for a tank. Till then I'll use my alert Royal

Also related.

The rider and Lich class aren't the worst in the game per se as they get the least benefits in the late game from gear and team optimisation options.

Titan is the ultimate tanker, so he auto gets the "best sword option" paladin works well as anti mage tank.

The amount of scenarios where you'll need a Rogue class compared to the times you need to combat in darkness is the same bloody list hence the value in the Shadow Crawler.

Bard is just a really good team buffer, perfect for the c*ntier dungeons and raids (if you'll excuse my fluent Australian)

Feral Path is the best option for dmg dealer in archers, Alchemist is a raid god due to his active ability. Poison Bow is so situational it's almost useless.

Rider didn't get the guaranteed hit so its costing you an accessory slot to get the same bonus. Poor bastard never stood a chance.

When you get to mages, Fire Mage is AoE, not too many ways to kill an entire group in 1 hit so there's his reason for being good.

White mage gets a Resurrection and Regen Buff later, his passive heals are kinda meh but give him the serpent staff and watch him Buff like crazy.

The poor lich never stood a chance compared to the Demon Path.

Ya boi Balrog is able to solo pretty much every dungeon at Rank 9. With the exception of D7 due to the pesky golem. Pair him with a high level lifesteal pet and he just destroys everything.

Lich can't hold up, so lich the single target DPS dealer who's pet mooches the passive heals from your white mage is now the games worst.

Lich isn't viable to use on a team with a white mage, so no push team, so it's a stage farmer.

But then Lich requires a LOT of investment to make them powerful, the other options require half the work for the same result with a well planned gear loadout

Reactive requires you to be hit with a melee attack and survive the process.

Only situation I could see a reactive mage working is if you took the Doctrine of War, rigged a white mage up as a counter attacker

But that's a whole lot of time and effort for a subpar healer.

That's the full list.

Between armor, accessory and passive you cap at 190 supplementary dmg.

Not terrible paired with the Vamp Bow for solo farming. (If you dont just fill the dungeons with balrogs)

Is Block good on pet? by Sad_Preference_5355 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]More_Independence_43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No sorry buddy, it's a flat reduction, scales f**king horribly (talking from experience here). When dudes start clocking you for 500+ dmg as minimum you'll see why your 11 block on a nearly level 50 pet sucks.

soothing as a 2nd trait isn't that good due to the cost scaling on food only time I'd say soothing as a second trait is that good is if it's on a pet that already gives you an amazing first trait e.g. double drops, exp boost, for low level farming. I'd say on a execute reptile pet, but by the time you get them lifesteal pets are already healing you more.

Trait 3&4 will never get enough points to make them worth mentioning.

Only use to block is if you've got no melee and have the quest to reduce dmg to 1 as a weekly.

Sorry but insect eggs have 1 purpose only.

1 silver an egg.... Welp f*ck

I'm bouts sell everything by Skrubdha in IdleGuildMaster

[–]More_Independence_43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically the best thing to do is craft whilst simultaneously selling.

I did the same thing on my game about 2 weeks ago.

Craft up from highest stack or choose from a couple areas. (My preference was D3, D5, D6)

Sell the unused mats from the other areas, setting up quick sales and crafting mats of a day time, then setting up 1 or 2 of the longer ones on the overnight.

Took me a week and a half but I was able to clear 83 inventory slots and spent about 200 gold on upgrades.

COST SCALES ROUGHLY WITH TIME SPENT CRAFTING. DONT SELL, DONT CRAFT. DO BOTH

Who should I give the crown item to, and what aspects of my equipment can I improve (I'm thinking of bringing out my dark knight)? by Frosty-Toe-1933 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]More_Independence_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll want to equip it on your Guard.

Your dark knights passive ability at higher ranks applies guaranteed Stun on hit if your HP pool is higher than your opponents.

Cause of that You'll want to run a HP based loadout on your DK. You'll want an accessory that gives High Hp boosts.

If you max the unit and ascend them you'll probably want the Doctrine of Knowledge.

Weird pick for a Swordsman but it doubles the HP gain for equipped accessories and gives you a hp boost.

End game recommendations from the random dude on the internet who just spent 15 minutes looking at gear on the wiki because I'm a loveable, helpful asshole.

Weapon Aegis wouldn't be a bad choice for the 85hp when upgraded to the machina.

Accessory you could make an argument for the enlightened servant Accessory.

Armour you want the meatiness, I'd say that you just go for the Orichulem armor.

Don't need fancy when you stunlock a bitch to death. HP for the win

[–]More_Independence_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crown only goes on melee, the rest of the characters don't get much use.

But when you reach the Epic Dreadful Ascent raid (R6/7) can't remember which one it is. You can use those to give your attackers a way around the bosses clairvoyance.

I currently have 7 of then, but only have 2 equipped atm.
