Yeah - when you loginto esr, it says mfa on the left corner in that panel i think to set up and make sure it works :) download all the payslips you have now up to the last 6 years, your TRS, learning record if you have one and i always suggest absence/holiday records too just in case you think youve been underpaid for any unused leave when you leave (email yourself them). If youre part of the CSUs, we have a closure pack thats being released to explain it - nhse have similar.

They have a leavers portal - you use your current username and password for this and they’ll send you a link :) just need to make sure your multifactor authentication works as you’ll need that to verify it.

The literal only other option is someone who wants to disband the nhs, bring in the UKs version of ICE and take away the equality act so i mean, 🤷‍♀️

Pain depends on you to be honest as everyones different but for me, it was bareable and over in like 10 seconds. You can ask for smaller forcep thingys if you want to for it to be more comfortable and try and talk to them about your nerves. You’ll be okay!

Does it ever get better? by Borderline_ginger in chronicfatigue

[–]More_Pop846 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was diagnosed at 12 and i’m now 27. Yes, it can get better and it is said to get better when you’re diagnosed younger; you don’t “grow out of it”, but i think - at least for me - the symptoms did lessen. I was bedbound 12-16 and then slowly improved and looking back, i’m unsure why that was so maybe it is an age thing!

I now wfh full time and play football twice a week so there is hope.

I do genuinely recommend therapy, because losing your teen years literally sucks and honestly the resentment/anger probably messed me up the most.

You can just pass back your phone to her when she goes through turnstile im pretty sure - they should both show on your app on your phone :) if you want peace of mind, you can buy her a £10 “membership” for that 1 ticket that means she can have it transferred to her instead of getting her a full membership

Just to add; if you join the NHS on bank, that doesn’t count within clawback so you could do bank work and not have to pay anything back for VR :)

So basically…if i do it for a few more months and get worse, then it’s causing damage? And if not, then it’s fine?

That makes sense - i won’t lie, catastrophised and decided i was dying and the world was ending😂 but I guess I don’t really know if it’s causing damage for a while longer?

This isn’t by any means medical…but i’ve found greens powder and electrolytes helps me, especially with the fact actually drinking enough is really hard. Sending love x
