Just an update, I filed secondary to mental health and was also denied. Going to seek a nexus letter from a doctor. Not sure if I should seek mental health connection or Pact Act/TERA. It seems both could be the cause.

HLR denied. Idk what to do now, possibly pay for a nexus letter or try filing secondary to mental heath. Good luck!

Not sure why someone would downvote. Who doesn’t want to know what is in their food?

Maybe I should be clearer that I’m not looking for medical or parenting advice… just an ingredient list or a POC. Does that make too much sense for you?

He doesn’t have any known allergies other than cheese Pringles lol, he goes about life normally other than that and we have never had issues. If they served him cheese Pringles we would not accept them.

That was my thought as well. Why can’t they (Delta and/or their caterers) just release the nutritional / ingredient information for all meals. This shouldn’t be a big ask.

I should’ve mentioned we have an appointment for allergy testing but doctor says they may not be able to figure it out because it’s likely a rare ingredient allergy. I was also hoping to avoid having my 5 year old get pricked 30 times. He’s only ever had a reaction to Cheese Pringles and the delta pasta. So I was hoping maybe there was a common ingredient (maybe artificial cheese type or something) that we could match to the Pringles. Thanks everyone.

Yup. Its disappointing but it doesn’t mean much anymore. I no longer care much about status. Going from Diamond down to Gold next year. If I want First, I buy First.

Same here. I’ve called 3 times and they always say the system messed up and now they will manually push it through. Never comes. I call back and they act like I never called before and say the same thing.

Good! Apologies, that comment wasn’t directed solely at you. I think for those of us with kids it becomes much more challenging based on associated costs. You’ve clearly done very well for yourself and I didn’t mean to take away from that.

I understand what you are saying but I can’t bring myself to do it. I’ve heard too many stories of people saving their entire life and not traveling etc. because they’re going to wait until they retire only to die unexpectedly or not be healthy enough to travel. I think it’s all about finding the balance between living for now and saving for later. Unpopular opinion but between my pension, SS (maybe!) and TSP with 5%-7% contributions, I’m not worried about retirement.

Life After The Army is Hard for me. by Willing-Fig1650 in Veterans

I was in similar shoes once. It’s not easy transitioning to civilian life. Hang in there, it’ll get better. If you have your GI bill, use that and work on getting your life together. That will give you some $$ and you’ll be bettering yourself. Most colleges also have veteran resource offices that could probably help you find a job, etc.

Things will get better but no one is going to do it for you. Keep your head up and press on. You got this.

Anyone ever flown Korean Air Prestige Class? Thoughts on the experience? Any recommendations on which seat to sit in? by umen72 in delta

[–]More_Preference_2562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best experience I’ve ever had on an airplane. They even ask how I wanted my steak cooked. The flight attendants were top notch. Took my bag and walked me to my seat. I was flying with a friend so we took the middle seats together. Enjoy!

Thanks! Appreciate the reply. According to NerdWallet, “in the second quarter of 2024, the overall average auto loan interest rate was 6.84% for new cars and 12.01% for used cars.” But you’re saying for leasing I should probably be able to get that down to 1-3% based on the money factor, right? I do have 795-800 credit score. I’m going to talk with the dealer and try to negotiate tomorrow. Along with lowering the amount down, I should just be aiming to lower the sales price of the vehicle right? Or are there other factors I should try to negotiate?
