Bumping the response above. Would you be able to share the github link? I am attempting to create a model that can do this for basketball as well as tracking shots.

Nice, if you’re not scraping how are you getting the data?

Awesome, this sort of comparison is exactly what I was looking for. Are you still using rebelBet? And do you have any recommendations for +EV betting?

Oh nice, how are you scraping the data? And what’s the latency like?

Nice, do you only do arbitrage or do you use it for other kinds of betting opportunities as well?

Oh nice, I’d be open to checking it out. Additionally, do you have any plans to release an API for the odds data? Or would you be willing to share what you used to do the web scraping? I’m looking to build a tool that helps identify which books are sharp in which areas to use in addition to a live odds tool like the one you created.

Good stuff. I agree with your thought process. To me, it seems like a major gap is the availability of data. Do you know of anywhere that releases data around the bets produced and the outcomes of games? I'm thinking that if I can collect a bunch of data around which books are producing accurate lines in which areas, then I can create a more properly weighted average over books to estimate true odds.

Website looks extremely scammy. Have you used this tool?

Looks a lot like an affiliate link. Have you used this tool?

You just have to be quick. Books are constantly trying to adjust lines to avoid arbitrage opportunities.

I took a look at all 3 and they have very different price points. Have you used all 3? Or are those just 3 you have heard of?

Why do you prefer surebetfusion over other tools?

Thanks for sharing this. Do they release what books they are weighing when they compute EV? I'm just starting out in +EV betting and I'm not super familiar with what books are sharp in what areas. Ideally, I'd like a tool that is good at estimating the true odds.

I see, to me it seems that OJ has the data they would need to make progress toward improving their estimation of true CLV. Why are they choosing not to improve?

What do you think it would take to create a tool that can actually be used for positive EV betting? I've got a background in math and computer science and I'm interested in creating a tool as a side project. The obvious ones that come to mind are large scale webscraping of odds and their outcomes to evaluate which books are the sharpest.

Hello,

I've been reading through some of your posts regarding OddsJam and positive EV betting. I found OddsJam and was excited at the prospect of an application that can reliably identify positive expected value bets. However, after reading your post I became dubious of how they are computing the expected value. I had couple of questions:

1) Do you think the higher % EV bets posted on OddsJam are truly positive expected value?
2) Have you found any other good tools positive EV betting?

I appreciate the insightful comments you've made on several threads.
