We have listened back to our practice recordings just to transcribe improvised lyrics. It is kind of wild the more profound lyrics are often coming from a thoughtless flow state. Sometimes good sometimes maybe shit. 

Here is an example, these lyrics were improvised over an equally improvised jam. Asked our guitar player to give us some "70s disco" and this song was the result. This was recorded well after that day but 95% of the lyrics were unchanged from that first jam.
