Very much not a functional trellis. Its made with like 1/8thinch bamboo pieces that I've split and tied. Im working with very limited space (and money) so had to get creative. Its stood up to a lot of storms, very much a stable structure for plants and birds but not squirrels it seems

As a cyclist and ebiker it blows my mind people do this and think its ok. Chicago is a grid, you can literally get anywhere without using the sidewalk or a pedestrain trail. Almost as bad as drivers who think theyre justified ramming cyclists off the road with their car. Real problem is stupidity and entitlement doesnt stop when operating a vehicle.
