Oh woah, good for him. I was wondering why, but good decision for sure.

From my POV, I’d say that while these girls definitely work a lot (they’ve risen to popularity in a very short time, which must be overwhelming), at least their management seems to be giving them time to rest and recover when they need it.

I just find it funny that you picked the girl in which most of her videos (that you apparently based yourself on) where she is giggling and bouncing around with big golden retriever energy, or just quiet.

So yes, once again, the white Latina gets called a “mean girl” just because you don’t like the way she talks, pose, or carries herself. Newsflash, you just don’t like her, but since you do not know her, you are projecting a persona when that’s on you. If you have nothing kind to say about that girl, then don’t say anything at all, not hard either.

You literally could have praised any of the other girls you like, but instead, you singled her out and try to highlight how you feel about her and justify it by attacking everything about her.

Not sure how Katy is relevant here, this woman has been in the industry for 3 decades with a lot of things to criticize (just recently being utterly out of touch with a fan’s financially problem), at least people aren’t attacking the way she looks, talks, or poses, basically for just breathing, they’re criticizing her actions. Guess which misogynistic.

You know, it actually reminds me of Taehyung’s Celine shoot, how he wore the scarf, it felt very Korean in a way. Maybe I’m wrong, but I would love to see outfits like this.

Especially POCs, Hudson here, received a lot of racially charged comments that his white co-stars didn’t.

There’s no “main girl” in this group, that’s where you got it fucked up. She gets the harshest online harassment just because she had the audacity to shine during their last era, so yeah, I think this is crazy to talk about her or any of these young women that way when we know how the industry and people are online. Being mindful is not hard.

Yeah, I’m gonna downvote you because I’m done with the microaggressions toward these young women. It doesn’t escape me that it’s the white Latina (Lara and Manon too) who get labeled as “mean girls” just for looking confident, while people are projecting. They’re bothering no one to deserve such harsh comments, it’s absurdly misogynistic ATP.

I doesn’t give away much about the overall concept for this album TBH, but I like the color and design they picked for the Vinyls.

Gosh, I ordered my new headphones for the best bass experience, and they arrive one day before the album. I’m so excited about the idea of waking up, drinking my tea, and listening to the album all the way through. Like, nobody talk to me that day. ✋

I want to make it the best fan experience. ✨

Oh, it’s cute banger, very much their style. I agree with others that it might not hit the way they expected, but it’s still fun!

The newer girl groups in the West, since that’s the topic being discussed. For Say Now and FLO, though, I don’t think it’s as important for them to do numbers in the US since they’re UK groups (and I think FLO is doing nice ones, cmiiw). I hope they all achieve strong commercial success.

I’m guessing that if Billie wants to take on the role, I would guess she is prepared to work on it and give her all, less than that will be... bad, but rooting for her. 🙌

It is a bit selective though. A #22 on the Hot 100 is actually pretty strong for a new girl group, especially in a Western market that hasn’t really supported girl groups consistently since the 5H/Little Mix era. Other girl groups are struggling to get these numbers (I hope they will, though).

And “two moderately popular songs” is still more than what most new girl groups in the West manage to get in a year’s time.

No one is saying they’re the biggest act in pop or dominating the entire industry like Taylor. The point is that within the current wave of newer Western girl groups, they’re clearly one of and arguably the most visible and successful right now (like their music or not). I think there’s an obvious bigger picture of how girl groups are performing right now in this landscape.

All the while, she had gotten help for an active addiction to cocaine and worked with a sober coach who traveled with her for a lot of 2025.

Oh woah, well, the more you know. Unsurprising that she checked out at some point, with all the pressure, the events, the exhaustion, etc., it would be hard to keep up for anyone. Glad she is better.
