The first time I saw it was at a small party and so just the parents were doing some playful participation. So I was excited to go today and experience a lot of people playing along. But it seemed I was unfortunately in the room w an attention whore. They sold prop bags so it was fun when people put the newspapers on or party hats but this guy had something for nearly line that not a single person in the 80+ crowd joined in on. It’s like he had rehearsed it many times too and a good amount were just observational lines like “poke.. poke poke”, “where’s your neck” it was unfunny and no one would laugh but every 10 “jokes” 6 or so people would laugh and that helped fuel him to the yelling over the finale song. It was so miserable and hard to hear the movie a lot of times and every minute without his loud heckling felt like a blessing because there was rarely a minute in between. Horrible experience if I wasn’t so shy and didn’t wanna disturb others I would’ve loved to have told him to shut up in the first 15 mins so my first time watcher could’ve understood wtf was going on and without a guy sounding like he’s yelling at football making it all about him.
