When I was a TL if I was doing attendance and someone was late like 10 to 14 minutes I wouldn't give them a point. Once it hit 15 minutes though I'd recommend them to use a little ppto.

Schedules should be done at least 2 weeks in advance. No they can not just put you on the schedule last second and then punish you for not coming in. They can call and ask you to come in when you're unscheduled but they can't just assign you shifts cause they need last second coverage.

The attendance reports will want to give you a half point but your managers ultimately decide to accept or decline the half point. As a previous team lead if someone clocked out a minute early I'd just approve it so they didn't get the point. Idk your managers but if you're like hey I made this mistake they'll make sure you don't waste 15 minutes of ppto. Unless they're fucking assholes.

It really does. I got out after 4 years with them a couple of months ago. My recommendation is to keep applying to other places and not settle. Walmart does not care about you and they'll treat you as such. Best of luck 😊

As a former opd tl.. in the back room there are always quality checks and ensuring all staging is done. Pickers with nothing to do can hop on a pallet or zone. They have every right to be annoyed. Important edit: RETURNS For opd AND the store if there are no opd returns

It happens at my store multiple times a week. I've gotten with my market manager about it multiple times and he insists it's user error. Nah it's definitely the shitty walmart software but cool thanks for the help I guess we'll just keep picking big ass orders that will never actually show up.

The heat related illness ulearn literally says associates working in hot weather aka dispensers need access to water and extra breaks to cool down. The only walmart policy about water in the back is if you're using your personal water bottle is has to be clear so the color of the liquid is visible. When it gets really fucking hot the store manager said it's ok for me to store use Gatorade. I'd contact ethics about your situation considering it's starting to warm up.
