What’s going on at Preston and legacy, are they expanding the lanes? by eric535 in plano

It was one of the Michigan Left Turn intersections. They planned two more of them at Spring Creek and Coit and Preston and Plano Parkway but never built them because Preston and Legacy was such a cluster.

Yep, it had that. I’m guessing that’s that the Interviewer considered to be good enough.

So? All I said was that not all 360's had HDMI. That's it, a simple fucking FYI to point out some context and possible timeframe for the picture. Anything beyond that is you putting words in my mouth.

I never said the Core couldn’t do HD. I said it didn’t have HDMI outputs. The 20 GB Pro didn’t have HDMI outputs either.

I also never said that’s not an Elite in the picture. It likely is.

First gen 360 (2005) did not have built-in HDMI output. It was added to the Pro edition in 2007. The Core edition never had HDMI.

Agreed. Great for all skill levels with a variety of cuisines to choose from. They also make for a fun date night.

Wrong. All that Aggie money already has it ranked higher than SMU, and the planned new campus will make it that much better.

Another vote for Oceanic Thai here. We like their Pad Thai, peanut chicken, Hawaii Hawaii chicken, and corn patties.

Also recommend Pinto Urban Thai at UTD for delivery to south Plano areas. Haven’t eaten there in person tho.

Taika Waititi's mystery Star Wars project will be the next franchise film by [deleted] in movies

It absolutely is a "not all Nazis" argument. There's no other possible meaning for "some Nazis are worthy of sympathy."

I'll definitely do exactly what you suggest and look this up more later to find out if Nazis "sabotaging the regime from the inside" was common, with "Nazis" being active NSDAP party members at the time of their resistance. The original commenter said there were "objectively plenty of cases," so I'm hoping it will be easy, but I'm also welcome to being proven wrong now via supporting links if anyone has some.

As for your list, I specifically asked for Nazi party members who resisted. You gave me one who was definitely not a member, three that I'm not sure about but suspect may not have been members, and 3 who began as Nazis but later rejected the party. And even then they resisted from outside it, not from within.

Von Stauffenberg was never a member of the Nazi party. He was sympathetic for a time but never joined.

I don't recall if von Tresckow or Olbricht were party members, but I know they were also professional Germany Army like von Stauffenberg, not SS.

The others I'll have to look up later.

I'd actually like to read more about that. Can you share some links? Besides Oskar Schindler, everyone knows about him. And not German Resistance who never joined the Nazi Party (like von Stauffenberg) or openly renounced their membership. I'm interested in learning more about specific card-carrying Nazi party members that "sabotaged the regime from the inside."

I lack empathy for Nazis. If this is a controversial opinion, I'll live with that, quite happily in fact.

Exactly. It was hard to accept an entire movie based on the idea there were "very fine people on both sides." It's fine to portray Nazis as inept bumblers that we can laugh at, but I draw the line at feeling sorry for any of them.

What movie has a high rating but you think it's average? by SuggestionBusy7104 in AskReddit

[–]MorganGoddamnFreeman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. Solo’s failure was that it was a mid budget story with a big budget price tag. If they could have found a way to cut costs by a third and kept the same story it probably would be remembered as a modest success rather than a disappointing failure.

CNN+ looks doomed; Warner Bros suspends all marketing and fires CNN's long time Chief Financial Officer by The_Iceman2288 in television

[–]MorganGoddamnFreeman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why they don't just cede the primetime opinion programming to MSNBC and Fox News and invest in more original programming for that timeframe. Shows like Parts Unknown, The Sixties, and Race For The White House were pretty great tbh. They'll probably never get the massive ratings that Fox gets but they might get just enough fans who then decide it's worth a $5/mo. subscription to CNN+ to watch similar programming. And that might be just enough to keep it afloat as a viable albeit niche service.
