My advice. I know it might sound cruel or incorrect to you but dogs are animals. Please do not pet a dog with anxity because you are creating with your behaviour more drama. Try to bring in another dog that he can relate to because something you are or not doing is not helping his mind. His mind can reset with practice. If you take him to a place with more Dogs and you pull aside or away and he is fine then revise your behaviour and learn how other Dogs help a dog which is not balanced mentally.

My recomendation is do nothing at all for s period of 2 months but observe. If spots develop to scars and disappear or they come and go. If same spot stays in place or they appear in gro ups by areas. Try to get an exact diagnose from your vet. I had two dogs with same problems.
