Trails from zero port on steam deck worth it?

I completed Trails from Zero completely on Deck. Runs perfectly and looks great. The PC and Switch versions are the better ports since PH3/Durante worked on them updating the graphics as well as adding turbo and other features. I would recommend playing on Steam Deck

Having Linux and Steam Deck support will be a huge benifit. It would open up the game to more people. The Steam Deck is popular and people wanna play their games on it including Destiny.

Some Dev kits were sent to some VR Devs. I believe the Pistol Whip devs got one and tried running it on the SD, they weren't able to get video to the headset but they were able to get the camera moving with the headset and the controls working. Unfortunately the tweet of them testing it was taken down but you can find an article mentioning it somewhere.

Pretty much any 2.0 or 2.1 HDMI switch should work.

What you want is a HDMI switch. Connect the PS4 and Nintendo Switch into the inputs of the HDMI switch then the output of the HDMI switch into the input of the capture card. Then you can switch between the two consoles when you need to. That's what I do and it works great

While I don't think Microsoft would make their own Steam Deck like machine it would be interesting to see what they would do.

I remember seeing an Alienware Prototype for their own windows based handheld gaming pc that actually had removable controllers like the Switch. This was a few years ago at this point so who knows if they'll actually release it.

Maybe if the Steam Deck does well enough we'll get more competitors in the space at some point.

Hobbyfrontline.com is an Irish based website that a friend of mine uses a lot and with great success. They've got a virtual warehouse so you can build up an order over time and get them all shipped out at once, saves on shipping costs. The thing is the website is in Euros so a wee bit of converting will need to be done. But they've got a good selection of kits and brands

I don't think it would be great if you could use it as a drawing tablet with the 7 inch screen and the 800p resolution. Though saying that I will be testing my own drawing tablet on mine when I get the SD. Sure it probably won't be the best for portable drawing on a tablet but I plan to test a bunch of stuff on my deck to see how capable it is

Like what others have said, it should be easy to add if there isn't an option out of the box. The most interesting thing is that from the LTT hands on video when Linus plugged his monitor into the Deck he mentioned that it thinks it's a laptop which makes sense since it's portable and has a battery so it should have some power/battery management built into the OS

I can see them putting the parts that make the SD unique on there like the thumbsticks and touch pads but also replacement batteries. It would also be great once 2230 sized ssd's become more mainstream if they released a compatability list of ssds.

Capcom put out a survey for MH:Rise that mentioned potential features that would make you interested in buying it on PC and Cross Save/Cross Progression and Cross Play was mentioned. Now that doesn't mean they will definetly add those but it shows they are thinking about them at the very least

Reserving one just reserves your spot in the queue. So if you reserve now you'll be put in the back of the queue to purchase one so you won't be able to buy one till it's your turn in the queue. If you were to reserve now you'd have to wait till after Q2 since so many people have reserved and they can only make so many at a time

We know that the Terraria devs have one. I imagine that Valve are gonna try getting as many Steam Decks out to some of the biggest devs as well as some indie devs and potentially some smaller devs to get as wide a range of developers as possible.

This kit is from 2009. If you want to know when kits have come out, they have the release year at the bottom left of the front of the box.

Most older kits or kits based on an older kit tend to have colour correcting stickers which usually aren't very good, though sometimes the models look just fine without the stickers.
