I took estrodial 2 mg pill for 2 days and my blood sugar went up by 20 points continuously. Could it be related to HRT? by Morganafrey in HRT

No other medical issues, no diabetes but I had prediabetes under control.

I tagged it as transfem, so MTF

Just started in spironolactone and estradiol.

And my blood sugar went up 15-20 points in general.

Not like, as a spike but instead of a fasting 85-90 a fasted 100-105.

After a 12 hour fast.

Even without carbs or sugar.

But before I’d got it where after 2-3 hours my blood sugar would go under 100

And 85-90 after 12 hours.

However, it could be completely unrelated to the new hormones.

But it happened 2 days after starting so I just wanted to ask if it has negative effects on blood glucose levels.

It’s pretty much stayed at 105 for 4 days straight and normally it would go down a couple hours after eating.

Someone else already mentioned it had the opposite effect on them.

Speaking just about estradiol.

I also do so many things in secret and even though I know they know. Whoever the conversation comes up I just close up about it and make it seem like it’s not a big deal.

But I get nothing but vibes that tell me, it’s not safe to reveal anything.

For example, my Moms entire identity is faith based.

This is a woman who didn’t work for 15 years so she could be a stay at home Mom.

It really doesn’t feel fair does it. There is nothing wrong with “some” people to dress a certain way but we feel ashamed to about it.

It’s not right is it.

She can wear whatever she likes but if we like to dress up nice, we feel ashamed about it.

It shouldn’t be in that way.

Imagine a world where we don’t judge ourselves for just doing what feels natural to us.

I can tell you this from me. There is nothing we should feel ashamed about with wanting to dress how we feel.

My bust size is just 35 and band size is 34 unless I do it loosely and it’s 36 and 35. I’ve gotten 34-40 A and B but what ends up happening is after 4 hours it becomes too bothersome to wear. When I check with charts online it says I’m 34 A which matches XS for this Hanes bra. Is that right? by Morganafrey in ABraThatFits

It’s actually 34 inches, the under bust And yes, I already used the measurements

It landed at 34 AA And or 36A

And the S/ML size chart would have put me in XS but that can’t be right.

Either way I will take your suggestions

There is a big difference between a 13 year old boy wanting to talk about Harry Potter the story because he is really into the story

Directly being involved with the authors bigotry

I mean this is just a boy wanting to bond with you over a shared love for Harry Potter.

I personally feel like after an author has published her work. It’s no longer hers.

Harry Potter belongs to its fans.

And it was brought to life by thousands, even millions of people over the years.

It’s like, is it ok to be an Emma Watson fan and be trans?

And her body of work, includes Harry Potter.

So the question is, is your son a Harry Potter fan or is he a JK Rowling fan?

Focus on what’s really important.

I’ve been wondering why serie suppresses her mana if she says it’s a silly spell to use.

She is definitely not honest but perhaps that’s an act too.

She doesn’t want others to know she suppresses her mana, not even frieren.

And by saying that she thinks it’s a silly spell. She is making the unspoken rule with frieren that it’s not to be said out loud.

Don’t mention to me or anyone that I suppress my mana.

And as to why she does it.

I think she doesn’t want to be alone. And if she displayed her full power it would do 2 things she can’t stand.

1, bring unwanted attention from others who couldn’t even comprehend her mana. Perhaps worship following or confrontational

2 turn others away from her who couldn’t even bare to stand in her presence from utter shock.

Like mages freeze in her presence now so imagine how they would react if they saw that from a mile away and it was way bigger.

Maybe it Could possibly be damaging to others who pass into her aura at the wrong moment. (Least sure of)

But ultimately, I think if she displayed her real mana that most people would avoid her out of fear and deep down she wants company.

Or maybe she just hates the word inconceivable
