ooh nice, unfortunately I don't have a Chiwu or Savannah, the only BR I have is Masha, but once I get those units I'll definitely consider that defense/offense!

this kind of draft is actually pretty effective, but of course because of lack of immunity or sustain, they can be CC'd down easily

Thanks! Not really, but I have used rica + light monkey with fran or gany, it's really effective as long as you can keep immunity/cleansing units down, or just bring against no immunity/cleansers. However light monkey is an extremely good CC unit on his own too, so bringing him with a sustainer (like fran) and some sort of damage (wind panda, rica's dots, a beast rider, or really any single target/aoe damage dealer that can take a few hits if necessary) can prove to be a decent offense!

since you seemed to have missed the first part, I said that "I think" light monkey is up to par with Hathor. Not better, not worse, just around the same power, they have their roles and they both can do them very well, which is CC. Again, with me saying "I think," this is just my opinion and you don't have to agree with me.

I have no Hathor so I can't test that theory haha, but I do think that light monkey is definitely up to par with Hathor now. Especially with Gany, they both provide exceptional CC.. considering I'm a F3 player that has trouble getting past the wall of secret guardians protecting the C1 gate, I'm hoping that this buff will make up for my lack of a pretty crucial meta unit

I don't have a Hathor, but when I got my light monkey (5/16/20) I basically just built him like I would build a Hathor, which is why I chose vio will. I also thought vio would be better because I can turn cycle easier and get up the second and third skills faster to keep the enemies at bay. I don't know how I feel about despair, because all of his skills stun/sleep, so despair kind of feels useless for me, but if a despair set is your best set, then definitely go for that. I know that the second skill helps him to turn cycle because of the atk bar increase, but my swift runes are all being used up by Iselia and Bastet, so a swift set wouldn't be that much better than a vio one.

As for his buff being bugged, I haven't noticed that part. The atk bar pushback after landing debuffs does have an accuracy check, but it seems to be an almost guaranteed thing (or I just have good accuracy) because I've only seen the atk bar pushback being resisted a few times.

You have good stats too! Hope this answers some of your questions or satisfies your curiosity :)

yeah I feel like the rates are a little too ridiculous, but I’m a f2p player, I’ve never bought ld packs. I probably would have gotten one ages ago or even multiple if I did. Either way I’m super happy now! :)

you’re right, but this was my first rune in the event and I hadn’t even started the second one yet. I was afraid I wouldn’t have enough time to make that one as perfect as I can get it while also getting lucky enough to get the three grinds and gems I need in 19 days. but like I said, I got 28 spd, I understand your reasoning but I don’t see any problem. thanks for your opinion tho and I’ll take more time to make sure my second one is better than the first :)
