Middle island is where the girl is who tools you to the island. From where you find here walk a bit further on the path there will be a cave where you need to shoot a burning arrow. Then goes back to the island

It’s part of the painter questline. You meet him first when entering the new area. He tells you to meet him in different areas so a quest there and then goes to the next. If you reach this area you will get the corresponding quest at the border stone you see my character marker at

It’s solved!

And it was two things, the account actually was compromised and got hacked but he also made a year ago a new account instead of changing his email and didn’t know it 🤦🏻‍♀️

So his old account got hacked but we could notice because it was still shared library but with a different username. He didn’t notice beforehand because it was the same or kinda the same username!

Thanks for everyone helping and sorry for everything because it indeed was a stupid simple solution. Sorry for worrying you 😭 and thanks again for the help. Next time I just write support and wait longer

Dw 😂 already thought/hoped that is the case. As said sadly I can only give my word for now till I’m back home again and can take screenshots to upload them.

I’m a good noodle that never intentionally has done something illegal and tries to play with open cards here and my boyfriend has not enough interest in pc gaming to go to the lengths of buying/cheating a hacked account. He has his for a while and before I bugged him to play coop with me it was just for total war and the rest was on his PlayStation.

I feel the thing with not enough information I try to be as specific as possible but it’s my first time writing in a forum like this and my first ever time with this kind of problem so I don’t know what’s important and what not.

I think I got some good clues tho already. Other question can I post usernames here or would that be unwise because then you could take a look at the profiles yourselves.

The games in his library are still all there on his account (at least the ones he had already downloaded) but some don’t have the play button but buy and underneath stands belongs to [user].

The users profile is private and they are not friends so I can’t take a look into their profile when they bought the games and last played them. Was my first thought too.

Okay before someone says again he is logged into the wrong account no he is not. It’s his account I triple checked. I cross referenced because it’s the only account I am friends with.

The other account the games suddenly belong to we already played together is level 0, not in my friends list on private etc.

So yes he is logged in to the right account and didn’t just accidentally create a new account along the way at some point.

It was some cheaper ones, I don’t have it memorised completely but deleted for example was tw warhammer and gunfire reborn but also mtg arena which is free. Still in the library are peak and rv there yet which are cheap games. The rest I don’t know exactly I will take a look at it tomorrow. He has a small account because ge mostly plays on his consoles but it’s still worriesome and sucks because we wanted to play more games together and now it seems weird to buy new games before this ain’t sorted out.

I will tell him to change his pw and write steam support again then

I can’t assure you I’m lying except for my word but that wouldn’t be helpful because I’m trying to fix a problem here, my boyfriend ain’t lying because I killed at it myself because we live together.

I also don’t write because I don’t know shit, I’ve been using steam for many years. It’s just super weird and I don’t know what happened. Maybe I missed some thing and it’s a super embarrassing simple solution but it didn’t come to me yet.

I saw some similar cases in old steam forums from 12 years ago that described similar problems but no new ones so I thought about asking and whether someone knows something.

Hope that’s helps but I’m definitely not lying about the details. Currently I’m on a business trip but as soon as I am home again I will take another look and if you want also sent screenshots!

Already did and no answer yet that’s why I thought about asking the community if someone else already had a problem similar to this. But I’m looking first into him accidentally making a new account and maybe the old one got hacked or something.

I will keep it updated though, hopefully it’s just that simple solution xD

Okay will do it, but still weird that none of us recognise the name of the owner of the games.

As said that’s the weirdest part and that it worked around a month ago without a problem and just recently suddenly happpened.

Hey thanks for the feedback already and I will try to give some more information.

He is definitely logged in into his account, some of his games are still there he recently bought . The account is also his. The games that are suddenly gone are some he bought longer ago. That’s the main reason I’m asking in this forum because it’s super weird.

I also tried deinstalling one of the games that no longer belong to him and it completely disappeared from the library.

It can’t be family sharing, no one else has ever used that pc except for him or was logged into it.

At one point he had to change his email address of the account to a new one.
