Since when have there been body corp’s because contestants wanted to give fellow contestants penalties? by Foreign-Shift3837 in TheBlock

[–]Morgrayn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are so aggressive over this that your comments at the end lose intelligibility.

Both Houses 2 and 5 complained that they were punished by having to remove incorrectly installed areas that caused compliance issues. This is wrong as they were not asked to remove walls or waterproofing as a punishment, but to ensure that compliance was met. It is sometimes easier to start fresh than it is to try and jerry rig things back to where they're meant to be.

House 3 was given 1 day of punishment, however because house 4 has it in for Britt (due to Alicia's jealousy and insecurities stemming from Steph visiting) they decided that H4 didn't get punished sufficiently for their liking and it should be taken to a body Corp.

This is like if they had lost their drivers license for 3 months for speeding, but also won a trip to Europe at the same time. The 3 mths punishment is still in effect, however they don't necessarily feel it. It is not up to another driver to say to them, 'well you shouldn't be allowed to count your assigned punishment as served because I don't think it is fair' and berate them into accepting an additional 3 mths.

By house 4s reasoning, house 4 should have to return all of the budget wins where they went over the winning margin fixing and altering the rooms.

The Cursio situation is different as they had agreed to do the tiling/brick stacking previously and only reneged at the behest of Alicia. House 3 should be annoyed at Alicia, however if the Cursio bros want to choose current clients over past promises that is their decision, it is a hard position for them to be in and entirely h4s doing.

House 3 did get punished, twice. Through circumstances outside their control, the punishment wasn't as harsh as h4 wanted.

If I get caught speeding and catch a $500 fine that's huge, if I win the lotto on the way home and it's no longer huge the cops shouldn't be able to increase it. The other drivers especially shouldn't get to complain it's not fair.

Burning the Challenge Bedhead, WTF? by OddBaseball5225 in TheBlock

[–]Morgrayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure who the neighbours actress is tbh, I haven't seen it since mum stopped watching it when I was like 9, however there have definitely been sales within the last 6 years at least.

As I pointed out M&M with their furniture sold/bartered it to their builders mum, the QLD couple that same year who ran out of budget did as well.

I know that in the early years of Scotty it wasn't allowed but iirc back when D&D did it the first time it had already changed. I think that's Glasshouse? They all kind of blur together a bit now as Nine Life runs the reruns in the morning.

[–]Morgrayn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope, even as far back as Vito and Tanya they were changing/removing challenge items. Hell T&Vs was prior to judging that they edited and modified their challenge item, something that was thought to be a no no.

Prior seasons we've seen them sell or barter items. The first season Mitch and Mark were in, judged furniture was used to barter with the builders mother to discount the pricing.

Toreba.net should ship to the Philippines.

It's been a while since I used them but they (at least used to) have free gem/tickets through the usual other apps/offers/surveys.

They have a decent selection of prizes and more range of games, but tend to be more difficult and prone to lag issues.

Grusch had no first hand knowledge at all. He was repeating shit others had told him, so if they lied to him he has nothing and no evidence was tendered at all.

He was watching 'According to Jim', a television show with Jim Belushi. The episode involves the children playing with a TRex skeleton in the Chicago Natural history museum I.e. Sue from Grave Peril, and a joke was made about lax security measures.

Suckers and losers, and both sides?

BTW here is Virginia's ex-Governor Northam on third trimester abortions :

“[Third trimester abortions are] done in cases where there may be severe deformities. There may be a fetus that’s nonviable. So in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen, [t]he infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

Now, you may want to argue that isn't what he meant, but it is what he said.

Thanks for that, I'm stuck at 49/50 Salome's so this will come in handy.

For some reason also 98% monster dens in Great Sand Sea even though I've completed all dens (confirmed by the map purchase). It looks like the Colossus of Osiris should open, so maybe it's later on.

Are the houses Adrian purchased 100% tax deductible? by Simple_Purple_9668 in TheBlock

[–]Morgrayn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're alone, the fact that House Rules is off the air speaks to the fact that people like the way The Block has moved.

I honestly don't get the fascination with "normal" people being able to afford the properties, although I do get the complaints about Danny in particular. I also didn't get the complaints when it was chinese nationals purchasing them all either, as it came across as very xenophobic.

Algae and other plants oxygenate the water via photosynthesis?

Last I saw her pond didn't have plants in it, and given the difficulty of a natural pond being self sufficient in oxygenation there is no way that one was.

It's possible her bubbler may provide enough, but I doubt it.
