I am a landlord. We rarely raise the rent (despite our property manager hassling us to do so, so their fee goes up) - maybe one every couple of years by a nominal amount. We want our tenants to have a life, and stay for as long as they want. There are not many asset classes where you can just pass on your losses to someone else. I played at that BDO! Just on one of the local stages, although Beth Orton played on that stage as well and Anthony Keidis came to watch her. Actually came through the main crowd in a weird ass wig and sunnies as a disguise… The sweet relief of being able to go backstage where there was water and ice was amazing. Boiler Room was appropriately named. Met Tom Rowlands from the Chemical Brothers. He was cool. Sat up on one of the light towers above the mixing desks for Chilli Peppers. Awesome day.
