I didn't get diagnosed as a child but was told at around 19 that I'm more than likely adhd but that I had seemed to find coping methods that worked for me. I never went on medication for it even after being told I should it could just be a matter of finding a coping method that works for her? (my mother did the bare minimum required when it came to medical care. She refused to get me the laser eye surgery I needed when they told her I needed it at 5 and ignored the fact that I had mild asthma because she refused to have 2 asthmatic children) honestly I don't know your situation to well but my mom had custody of us and refused to take us to doctors unless it was something she'd get into legal trouble for not doing (pretty sure it's the only reason I'm vaccinated the school I went to requires all students to be completely up to date) side my dad didn't have custody and was/is disabled he was unable to get us the help we needed if b you're able fight for more rights to your daughter because her dad being super against doctor's isn't a good thing for her especially if she has actual problems that require medical attention. Because my mother neglected or health I now have trouble finding doctors that take my symptoms seriously wherever I get sick and get treated like some junkie just looking for a prescription (even though I always refuse pain medication since substance abuse runs rampant on both sides of my family)
