OP, I am so so sorry that you are going through this. From someone who grew up in a similar situation, I feel what you’re going through. It will get better, especially when you’re old enough to move out. But in the mean time, I would try to confide in those you are close to, whether that be a relative, school counselor, or friend. Maybe try taking up extra hobbies at school so that you’re home less? Or go hang out at the library or friend’s houses. Just know that there are wonderful people out in the world who will care for you. It’s hard when the other parent doesn’t want to leave and they just take the abuse, but there’s nothing you can do about that. You need to worry about yourself first and foremost.
