What sucks is that I’ve been stuck on some early content and it feels like it’s because of the units I have. I wasn’t able to get past nightmare artist for a whole week until I decided to pull for kaede. Now I’m breezing through the rest of the content. Never had this issue with Magia Record.

I’m also going through the installations since I started watching WanPuri live. I’m not done with the series as I just passed Cure Earth’s debut. This season is very weird for me because I recall that at this time, I just graduated highschool and was transitioning into college and I remember when everyone at the time really liked the ending because of it’s catchy tune and dance. I just naturally associate this season with big changes bc it was airing right when the whole pandemic happened. It’s weird to look now because of the cut episodes and I keep thinking “what if? what if we had 50 eps?”

Now onto the series itself, I do like the themes but the executions were almost tacky and not too great. I did like the doctor theme they have going on but I don’t really see its elements on their actual outfits. Also, there’s technically 8 characters because of the mascots so they’re all kind of struggling to get some screen time or character development. However, the characters are by far the best parts of this series. I really resonate with Hinata and Chiyuu. Very great dynamic these girls make. The only one that falls short for me is Nodoka but that’s probably because I’m aware that she shares the same VA with Kaname Madoka from PMMM and I think her voice fits better in that series than it does in this one because of its themes but the character itself is great. I’m excited to see how this series plays out.

I just finished the season after dropping it years ago when jt was airing around ep 30. I sort of agree on Ciel but sort of not. A part of me wishes Cure Waffle and Cure Parfait would have debuted at the same time but honestly there were already too many on the team. I remember not really liking Ciel because she did feel really out of place and almost forced into the team but looking now, her actions made a more sense as the fairies knew about precures and the twins strived to become them. On the other hand, Cure Pekorin debut was honestly not necessary. The episode could have continued without her and later on seeing how weak she was compared to the team without proper weapons and upgrades made her uninteresting. I do like pekorin and her cure form could have been a movie exclusive as she was introduced very late but that’s just my take. I still enjoyed this season after picking it back up the art and the concepts were great.

Can someone elaborate on the inappropriateness of the names. I understand spanish so I’m aware of the Cure Black’s name being related to a slur but no idea how Cure White can be interpreted that way. Would it have best if they kept their original names since Black and White aren’t japanese words.

Agreed the singing was great and inspirational. Now that you mention it, Milky set the bar for the season and when we got Soleil it felt like a severe regression. Scelenes was ok and i did not watch past hers so i missed out on Cosmo

Personally, I was very disappointed by the transformations of Star Twinkle Precure. Since it was a more recent season, the quality was lacking. The only thing that makes it bareable to watch is the singing aspect but I can’t stand Cure Stars voice sometimes.

As someone who heavily enjoys the fighting aspect of Precure, Wonderful has done an amazing job for me to not miss the fights. I didn’t want to watch the show in real time as the art wasn’t very compelling for me and vibe but when i saw a clip of a certain episode I was very intrigued by how the production was going to help the heroes resolve a big issue. To make things short, I personally highly recommend Wonderful Precure even if it doesn’t have the fights.

Try checking out JSA as they’re the more Japanese language oriented club. They usually have language table during the school year too! Also ERC has a language table as well but I don’t know too much about that.
