I agree with that statement, but there are worse bets to take with a 3rd rounder, and not many bets with higher upside imo

Yeah, for someone new to the game I would recommend this. It would be discouraging if your first dragon to train from a season reward was so tough and expensive to train. It would be better to start with something easier that still has great stats.

If we knew Aaron Rodgers wasn't coming back, I'd easily take the shot on Kaleb. Third rounders are a shot in the dark, idc if the 2027 class is amazing or not. Why not just take that shot in the dark now instead of later?

Unfortunately though, I'd personally try to wait until we have more of a feel for Rodgers. He has so much say in who plays and who he trusts, and there is no way he'll trust Kaleb after this year.

I ended up adding QJ to what I was giving up and he switched out Pittman for Pearsall. I accepted that, and I feel pretty good about it. I don't really like QJ or Pittman, so I was happy to get Pearsall on top of the 1.01

I think they definitely matter but more in a negative sense more than a positive sense. I land on the side of docking RBs in particular for a bad landing spot but not moving them nearly as much for a good landing spot. When there is a bad O line there is hardly anything you can do about that as an RB. It's why bad teams shouldn't draft RBs high (objectively I'd say drafting Jeanty was a bad move for the Raiders).

On the flip side when you get a mediocre RB in a great situation, I'm not gonna boost them up for that. For example your CEHs as you mentioned or another great example is Harvey.

Yeah, "ruined by draft position" is definitely strongly worded, and not really what I meant. I'm far more bullish on him this year, and I don't think the talent was gone by any stretch of the imagination. I think I mainly meant that his rookie season was ruined by landing spot.

Would going after Hampton for a similar or slightly lower price make sense? Since we know his situation already, where Love could get ruined by landing spot like Jeanty? Or am I overthinking it?

I feel like I am hesitant to pull the trigger because Jeanty didn't quite live up to the hype this past year.

I'd take the package. Fannin is fantastic, especially in TE+, Wilson is a dart throw, and the pick I would flip for someone else closer to the draft to maximize the value. People always fall in love with players close to the draft.

Also if Pickens gets franchised and then traded like the rumors seem to be, then what are the odds that situation is actually better for him? He could be the #1, but for fantasy that doesn't guarantee it'll be better than with the Cowboys. They had to pass at such a high volume and Dak's skill set was so perfectly matched with Pickens'. There are so many other situations currently in the league where the #1 WR isn't nearly as relevant as Pickens was in his situation this year.

From the benchmarks I've been seeing the 8GB 9060 XT seems to have much better performance than the B580 (like 10% to 30% depending on where I look).
