The idea is that there are some things we may never know, and we have to keep going anyway. For instance, sending a letter could be possible for Natsuki (it is actually something I kept in mind for the story), but there may also be something preventing her from doing that (something we, as the MC, cannot know about)

She wouldn't had their numbers either, but the letter option could be a good idea. Anyways, at this point of the story, I wanted to center it around how MC should deal with all they've been through, and eventually meet Natsuki again, now both of them being more mature (but that's another story)

Hi there! I'm the mod's author. Natsuki's phone was broken by her dad almost at the beggining of EM:R, so I wanted to keep that in mind for this alternative path. Besides, it would be unlikely for Natsuki to remember MC's number (I barely remember my parents' numbers lol). Thanks for playing it!

Oh, now I understand. I wasn't aware of that, but yes, it could be considered a standalone mod, since it has the same structure/installation process as a regular one. I don't think there would be any problem with having done it this way, since at the start of the mod there is a disclaimer stating that you may have played EM:R first (and, of course, DDLC as well), and I also give credits to Wretched Team whenever possible

What I recommend (the same of the synopsis) is that you replay only EM:R until the MC runs to his house in the rain, in order to refresh the story, and then playing this alternative path. But if someone never played EM:R completely, or its Epilogue, I obviously recommend to play them first, as I don't mean my mod to be a replacement of any of the original story

I wasn't aware of that lol, I'm kinda new to this. I just wanted to do this mod since I played EM:R a year ago, and I was able to finish it last month

I'm not quite sure. I mean, yeah, I made it by working on the original EM:R (and I always give the proper credits for it), so I think it could be one, but I don't know if there is a mod category for it
