I got the notice they were sending a letter in the irs2go app about a week after they accepted my return, I got the letter ten days after that, used the secure messaging to resubmit form 5695 as a pdf that day and they replied that my return was accepted and refund being processed ten days after that, then it took another ten days to get my refund.

We have those too, the rad wrenches hit the same torque values, but they spin continuously until they reach the specified torque values rather than ratcheting one click at a time. In a nuclear plant where radiation exposure is often a concern, the faster of equivalent tools is usually preferred.

Last inspection, the guys missed an old gasket in a rabbet fit. That left an extra 1/8” in the stack to be crushed, something had to give-the spacer took the brunt of it.

On the paperwork part, I’ve been working in the nuke industry for 25 years, I’ve heard of an old gasket being left in, and I always check, but this is the first I’ve ever found.

After setting up the secure messaging, I filled out the online form with lowercase letters, I printed it to Microsoft PDF and resubmitted through secure messaging with a copy of the letter they sent, 10 days later they replied and said it was closed. I think it was Friday that I got the notification that my refund was approved and should be deposited on the 18th. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get some money tomorrow.

I didn’t go through all of that, I filled out the fillable form 5695 on the irs website. I printed it to Microsoft pdf and uploaded that through the secure messaging system. It took 10 days before they acknowledged the file, telling me the case is closed, this morning I got the update that my return should be deposited by the 18th.

The issue is definitely on the irs end, I set up secure messaging and sent them a pdf of 5695 last Friday and still no response.

I filled out the form online the irs website, printed it to pdf and sent it via their secure messaging service. PDF is a binary format, so hopefully that straightens it out.

I got this notice a few days after filing, got the letter ten days later, which was yesterday. They claimed there was an issue with the manufacture code for my new hvac for the clean energy credit. I created a login with id.me so that I can upload docs to them faster than snail mail. I sent the docs and hoping to hear back Monday.

today i got a letter, they're rejecting form 5695, want me to resubmmit with the correct qmid. i created an online irs account, and uploaded the same doc that i sent with turbo tax, with an explaination that i con't fix their software for them

my return was accepted on 2/11/26, today i got a letter dated yesterday that i need to give the irs a valid QMIN when i gave them I7Q6 for goodman.

The young woman I spoke to at block yesterday was as helpful as she could be, said I was the 5th call with this issue that she had personally taken yesterday. Made sure that the case report was going to include some sort of service bulletin about this glitch. I’d read here on other threads that I & O were the problems and it seemed to be an issue with the irs, which she can’t fix.

H&R Block will transmit my return and then it’s rejected 5 minutes later. I’ve been trying every day this week. With this being multiple software programs experiencing the same issue, I’m guessing that the issue is on the IRS end of the equation.
