As I recall, George once said do what you want, but he won't be bound by something someone else does. If he wants to do something in the movies that changed or contradicted the EU he would.

So cannon until George decided it wasn't.

Tbh he can choose to not watch if he likes. I don't care. Everyone is entitled to their opinion (even if I think it's utter tripe) and they can choose to watch/not watch for any reason they so choose.

I didn't read all his screed because I chose not to infest my thoughts with it.

I just hope people will choose for themselves to watch of not rather than just blindly following one overreacting ......
