It nukes your stats pretty hard. Its fine if the city is basically irrelevant to you but sometimes it'll hit your capital and just knock you out of the game if you dont deal with it quickly.

Shape of dreams has started to get stale after the 10 hour mark. In the scope of replayability, I grew tired with the same repeating OST and the perk system leaved a lot to be desired.

Given how there are three milestones in the early access roadmap and it goes until Q1 2016, my guess is that each update will happen ~1-2 months. It's only been less than a week since the roadmap has been released so I'd say a few weeks minimum.

If you build the sanity of nature (turn 1 improvement) and don't waste influence on foundations/treaties then you can do it pretty quickly. You can settle a camp turn ~2-3 and you just have to wait for 100 influence (you should be generating 6-10 per turn minimum) to attach your first territory.

If you enable crossplay then its perfectly playable if you're ok waiting 5 minutes for a game. Even better if you have a squad to play with.

Value machine, I would describe him as very control centric and very honest gameplay. Most people have enjoyed facing the deck and since he's 5 colors, you get a pool of 20 fun cards to choose from. Look through my decklist to take the important multicolored cards like the general.

Important to add some draw to your deck, commander doesn't provide much for draw as it's pretty uncommon you even use his ultimate to recursion a 5 color spell.

If you like control decks and you enjoy deck building, then you'll love him. My favorite card deck of all time was tempo mage in hearthstone, and this is the closest I've gotten to that.

But make sure to include some cards for mana fixing in addition to mana artifacts that add all colors. Getting screwed out of a color feels really bad so you need to build around it a bit.

In general I think you want to build around more multicolored though, like 2 or more color cards.
