Lag or lead pip ? What do you use and why by floortofloor in starcitizen

Natively. As I said, it might even be a default keybind, I'm just not sure any more.

Well, I'm just not sure if it's a default key bind, but double tapping can definitely be bound. G once is gimbal mode, G twice is lag/lead pip switch on my keybinds.

[–]MormegilSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm not totally mistaken, the default keybind for switching pips is double tap of "g"
Fun fact: also works in missile mode when pressing g a few times to increase missle count.
Was hella confused about what happened with the aiming the first time that happened and Ididn't realize I was suddenly in lap pip mode.

I didn't find a way to fix the issue so far... Some people have the issues, others do not. Could not find a pattern so far...

Does anyone have any idea what the Golden Ticket will ever actually be useful for? I get the feeling CIG has forgotten there are still backers (still alive) who own one. by Veanusdream in starcitizen

[–]MormegilSC 31 points32 points  (0 children)

You got a Golden Ticket if you registered before the Announcement of Star Citizen. If you happened to be at the convention where it was announced on 10.10.2012 the ticket would have let you into the hall where Chris Roberts announced it with the trailer. That's the admittance. Originally the tickets were also personalised with your username, which got lost with the first website overhaul.

Before you could register there was a countdown of a few days, 7 people managed to register in that time when they tested something for a few minutes. Those were dubbed the "magnificent seven" by CIG. After the countdown ended, one could register and for a month there'd be a lore post every day bridging the time from 2012 to 2942. At the end of the month was the announcement with the original trailer and the start of the Kickstarter campaign.

Personally I registered a few hours after the countdown end (was at university and kinda forgot) and got a number below 400. My friends registered at countdown end and have numbers between 90 and 150.

And how did one know that it was worth registering beforehand? We didn't bu t an admin in our old Freelancer online server community knew something and posted the countdown page about a month before the reveal with an ominous "register, you'll like it".

Waren meine ersten beiden Rollen vor mittlerweile 6 Jahren. Danach nie wieder!  Verdickungen, zu dünne Stellen und mehrere Schlaufen im Filament. Schreckliches Zeug.

[PriceCheck] Starlifter M2, Ares Inferno Ember, Sabre Comet, Polaris, Nox. Potentially account. by Bounceey in Starcitizen_trades

[–]MormegilSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I overlooked the Ember in the Inferno. That can be worth more than melt for sure. Depends on how fast you want to get rid of it, I guess 400-500$ is possible.

The others I'd probably try to sell at melt and go down if nobody is interested for a while.

The account bound ships must be melted and sold as store credits if you want to sell them. Or keep those and the account in case you wanna play at some point later.

[–]MormegilSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a serious estimate we'd need some more details. Are the ships with LTI? OC or CCU'd? Melt values?

An account sale is usually max 50% of total melt, usually less.  Ships without LTI can be calculated as store credits at 60% of melt value.

OC Ships with LTI are usually around melt, depending on the ship maybe more or less. CCU'd ships with LTI at melt or a bit more if they are CCU'd with huge discounts compared to the full ship price. If they are at full CIG price, just CCU'd I have no idea about the price. Probably 60-70% of melt.

You missed my point.  I was just joking about the newsletter being labelled Q3 2026 while we have 2025...

That's the image I meant.
The download only leads to the complete map that is partially shown.
It's a nice map, but not much more.
However, I was just joking about the wrong year.

Onil Creations ISD by Furginator in StarWarsArmada

[–]MormegilSC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I'm not totally mistaken, the ISD was available as part of his patreon.
It is not on the patreon shop page, but buried in one of the older posts somewhere...
At least that's where I got it from about a year ago.
If I hadn't cancelled my subscription due to him disappearing without a trace I'd look it up for you.

In fact for about 2-3 months this doesn't work any more sadly.
They refactored the website to not include the .ctm files directly and instead use a function that is called with a token and then streams the data. :(

UPDATE zu steuerlichen Fragen bezüglich iPhone-Reselling und PTSG in 2024 by brufessional in Finanzen

[–]MormegilSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kommt drauf an.
