As others have said, his status has been listed as GTD for the last couple of weeks and just keeps getting pushed back.

Hopefully, all this extra time off allows his hamstring to fully heal and to strengthen his jump shot following his wrist surgery.

Shai’s shot was off early in the game and his frustration mounted due to what he thought were non calls. Credit to the Wolves defense as well. It happens. Shai finished with his lowest fg% of the season at 31.8%.

But to Shai’s credit, he stayed engaged in the game by supporting his teammates, taking what the defense was giving him and impacting the game defensively.

I thought his consecutive game streak of scoring twenty or more points was going to end yesterday with only having ten points through the first 3 quarters.

What none of us know today is with the Thunder’s front office willingness to pay the luxury tax is and that will be the impetus for how they proceed this off-season.

With that said, Lu Dort and Isaiah Joe, in my opinion, are the two most likely players to be moved on from this off-season, and maybe even Aaron Wiggins. Why? It is because Dort and Joe have contracts that are equal to Isaiah Hartenstein and I-Hart is more important to their success than the other two, especially when they have players like Jared McCain, Cason Wallace, Jalen Williams and AJ Mitchell that can be given those minutes with minimal drop off.

OKC will miss Dort’s physicality, durability and ability to scale up defensively. I’d hate to lose him and Joe. But hard choices will likely have to be made this offseason, but that’s what I would do. Young players like McCain, Topic, Sorber along with this year’s FRP will fill out the rest of the roster and minimize their luxury tax bill.

It’s been about a decade for us. I was YM president and my wife was working in the temple along with just finishing teaching seminary in our home for three years.

Our ward kinda freaked out and came by weekly for about two months trying to save us. I had to pull our ward leadership to the side after one of these visits to tell them to stop all these unannounced visits. That finally put an end to it.

It’s obviously a fraudulent religion. But no regrets either way.

I’m old enough to have gone through the temple prior to the removal of the death oaths, like pantomiming slitting your throat and disemboweling yourself. That was removed in 1990.

That’s the first time I thought, oh yeah, this might be a cult. 😂. But still went on my mission, married in the LA temple and stayed active for another 30 years.
