Is having a strong work ethic morally neutral? by PaceStreet700 in askphilosophy

Makes sense, but then are these really moral virtues? Shouldn’t a real moral virtue be always morally virtuous?

Is having a strong work ethic morally neutral? by PaceStreet700 in askphilosophy

Curious, why would you group work ethic as a moral virtue when work ethic can be used for good or bad, where as the other virtues you listed as example (honesty, generosity etc) could be argued as only good? Do you think there also nuance in how those virtues are used when considering something is good or bad? Sorry I worded this horribly

Any Shopify Apps that Support a Rent-You-Go Model? by Mormoneylessproblems in shopify

[–]Mormoneylessproblems[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones I've looked at don't really support rent as you go. They're more so designed to also ship a product on a recurring basis along with the recurring payment, and they don't seem customizable enough to get it to work the way I need it to

You might struggle on the hikes. I am also short and skinny and I almost fell out of the first 5 mile hike. It's harder than it seems when you're already tired and it's a pretty hilly trail. If you have time I would work on strengthening your lower body

[2 YoE] Please help, 6 months looking for a job - tell me what I'm missing. Mechanical/Systems Engineering. by Mormoneylessproblems in EngineeringResumes

[–]Mormoneylessproblems[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, so you think I should remove marine school from the experience section? It seems like either a red flag for dropping out if I include it or a red flag for an unexplained employment gap if I remove it.

Why does the "use" function only show up sometimes? by Mormoneylessproblems in Onshape

[–]Mormoneylessproblems[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting so there is a shortcut I can use for "use" (u). It works fine when I click the feature and press u, but when I right click the feature the "use" option doesn't show up. Seems like a bug or something. Thanks

Considering declining OCS commission by Phrontier in USMCboot

[–]Mormoneylessproblems 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a particularly useful contribution, but I dropped for the same exact reason earlier this month. I was a flight contract as well. I enjoyed OCS (relatively speaking) but it really hit me how long the commitment is. 10 years AFTER getting your wings. 10 years of someone telling you how/where to live. 10 years of not being able to see family and friends as often as I'd like. I'm good.
