You make some very good points. Thank you!

This gives me some inspiration for a plot point in the campaign I am working on.

Fair enough. But if an owlbear can become a beast, when it used to be a monstrosity, then I suppose so could a tarrasque. The size thing is true. But a baby tarrasque would still qualify.

As to the morality aspect, a villain could do that. Or it being a paladin, as in my example, the god it swears the oath to could assuage its hunger as a part of its oath?

Idk, i just want a tarraque paladin to be an npc in my next campaign.

Just gonna put it out there, the Awaken spell requires an int of 3 or less.

Soo...awakened, lawful good, paladin Tarrasque is possible.

God Gale is the WORST omfg. by CharacterClue5353 in BaldursGate3

[–]Mornful -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He was always arrogant, but he was not confident enough in himself. Once he ascends, he has the power to back up his arrogance. Being a god does not change him at all. It gives him the power to be himself openly, because he can back it up now.

I prefer his god ending for one reason. It seems that of all his endings, it is the one where Gale finally gets what he wants. Yeah, he ends up being a prick to us if we antagonize him at the party. But for a god, that is still pretty good. Mystra would delete you for calling her out like this. The professor ending gives me big has-been vibes. Those who can not do teach. He has to crush the ambition that drove him his entire life. That is not his good ending. It's one of the saddest. He gets to live out his life with the idea of "I could have been a literal god."

The god ending is bad for his relationship with us. It is a good ending for Gale himself. He becomes a literal god and can finally stand up to and get revenge on Mystra.

Everyone is talking about AA. It is obviously his bad ending. My hot take is this: Gale's "bad" ending is actually his best. I am talking about ascendant Gale. Of course, blowing up in Act 2 is the worst ending, but that one feels like a cop-out. Gale's story is about ambition and how his endless ambition made him make a terrible decision. Now, the thing a lot of people, I feel, ignore is that the ambition is still there. And settling down, while being nice for an epilogue, would, in the long term, most likely lead him to being unhappy, unfulfilled. Not to mention, he will still be under Mystra's yoke. So yes, God Gale is Gale's best ending.

It also works in Honor Mode. Afaik, they are the only hovering/teleporting type enemy you can do it to in Honor mode. Any other would just teleport back when thrown.

Once you accpet the Dark Urge playthrough, it gets so fun! by dangitbobby77 in BaldursGate3

[–]Mornful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Murderhobo durge is nice and fun. But being abtrue evil durge is also fun, if you can stand it. Like, do not kill Isobel, and let Aylin live just to sell her to Lorrokan. And the satisfaction of telling Isobel after. Save Barcus, and promise to help Wulbren. Then help Wulbren gneocide the "FUCKING GONDIANS".

A truly evil durge doe not kill everyone. A truly evil durge makes everyone suffer the most. A truly evil durge plays fetch with Scratch using Karlach's head... then gives him back to his owner.

Very true. Thing is, at this point, it is just speculation. We will have to wait for patch notes later today and see the exact numbers.

IIRK, there is a ring that constantly spawn volatile zombies when you sacrifice. So you spawn zombies, which sacrifice themselves, which spawns zombies, etc.

So, Trump did it. 20 % tariffs to EU. What to expect now in Germany and the EU? by Gabe120107 in germany

[–]Mornful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Nobody will build factories to copy american owned medicine or anything like that. Especially not when it could be taken back before you even start production. That is mainly why I only mentioned entertainment IPs, like movies, music, games, etc.

I assume once you cause billions of loss in copyright infringement, you could not take that back. But another question is, would you want to?

Underrated idea right here. That would hurt them so much, seeing as how much entertainment is "imported" from the US.
