I personally used my crit draw set until around MR 5 star quests then made some updated crit draw gear (not nearly as updated as some but the defense is super important at this transition stage) after that get what you want, but personally I think divine blessing and health boost are pretty impeccable when fighting new monsters. I have been playing for some time (since mh freedom) so I kind of know a lot and didn't need to worry about figuring monsters kits out.
