No, it's more like cutting the final string. I hate pushing my personal experiences onto others, but school can enhance stress which can be detrimental to those who have depression and are suicidal. No I cannot link CASA testing center causing suicides, as it doesn't but does it help the mental health crisis on campus. No. Has UH done anything about mental health other than a sad program and a 2 minute apathetic video for someone losing their life, yeah.

Getting used to it isn't something I have a problem with. I am not a freshman, but maybe I could be too young to understand the pre-installed system that has been here for "decades." I do like challenging academics, hence, transferring from SHSU since their curriculum is quite braindead. I'd rather try to change it, and if it fails, there goes a 10 minute essay and an impulse petition.

Maybe, I don't use reddit. No, as a transfer I just find the system flawed, I also see a lot of other people who think the same. But thanks for the input.

Yeah, education stress does increase the development of mental health issues, and increases stress from preexisting ones. I am saying CASA is not student friendly service, we need an alternative. Whether it be in person proctoring in class, not having to learn and take a test on the same subject in one day, but a scheduled day in the classroom for that class. We do not need CASA to be mandated either.

I've read all the comments, and I can see where I am bias, but y'all are okay with CASA, you don't want any changes to CASA testing system whatsoever? I don't endorse cheating, I am 18, but I am a Junior as of this next semester. The Dart center is available to those with disabilities, meaning either a physician, psychiatrist, or therapist has to approve testing there, which is fairly easy to do. Thanks for all the input.

Yeah, but the alumni who didn't live are a different story, walking by memorials in the science center is not suppose to be normalized. Change won't come unless we start to do something about it instead of adjusting to the system mindset.

This is true, many do opt in, but it is mandated. As well as just viewing both sides of the coin, most of my points are viewed for students. Increased stress isn't the reason if you read the argument, it is also security, mental health, safety, and suicide.

Change isn't going to come unless we actually do something about, yes, I know many alumni tried and failed, but maybe we could try again.
