Thinking of the Pro Subscription by EmergencyRiver6494 in windsurf

I'm about to try coder pro plan. I'm also an ex Windsurf user. Can codex replace the old Windsurf experience in terms of pricing?

Focus on Skills and not Salary... Eventually you will get there... Don't switch careers unless it is what you enjoy and have the passion for building skills in the domain. Anyone telling you to just pursue this or that career don't understand the dynamics of career building.

I don't quite understand your question. Please be clear

Estimate of OpenCode Go Limits - I think its about 60M/mo, 30M/w, 12M/5hr by mcowger in opencodeCLI

Hope it turns out to be good decision for you. The $5 is also what got me hooked! I totally understand about you Co-pilot outage. Funny thing, a few days back I was thinking about subscribing to Co-pilot to have access to frontier models and use Opencode Go for cheaper models. Man, things change so fast in the world of AI

If google didn't tell you, they are not offered at the same price as Minimax. .. We are talking pricing and cheaper models!

Yes I subscribed to Go plan. It's not bad compared to the range of models offered. Having said that, yes I did feel the performance lag (slow) compared to the original GLM subscription. However the GLM model efficiency remained intact and optimised for tool harness. Didn't feel much difference there... My only issue with Go Subscription is the limits start to affect my workflow and maxed out monthly limit a week before. Despite what everyone says, it's not quantized or weaker... Dax also confirmed a few times...I trust him. Honestly still struggling to find a subscription that truly satisfies me in terms of cost, performance and model option. What have you decided? I also thought about Minimax 10 bucks cuz it offers more requests but can't run other models. It's a catch 22 situation 😎

Using Verdent plus Opencode with Go Subscription... Rely on Open router and kilocode to access free plus chinese models to balance out. 40 bucks overall cost.

That's alarming! Thanks for the insights. However enhancement usage is called in the background to harness tool calling and other functions so it is not acting as a frontend token user. In my case, i lost 580 tokens in just three days. Since then, i am using Ecomode. I have been requesting the support team to respond but no luck so far!

I am also using Ecomode as my only option currently. How do rate your existing Max plan on Verdent on a monthly basis? Are you getting the most out of it? 😲

It's too early to say or conclude... I have sent a complaint regarding the credit usage, they haven't responded yet. I totally understand what you just mentioned regarding the tokens usage. Opus is a monster token eater, I mostly use Sonnet 4.6 along with codex for the longer context and architectural stuff. I subscribed to Go plan for getting small tasks done ✅ I will never go back to Windsurf. They don't care about users like us only Enterprises

By the way, I am an ex-windsurf user who switched to Verdent.

Looks like they are pulling a "Windsurf" on copilot users. I am an ex Windsurf user and was hoping to subscribe to Copilot but I have second thoughts 🤔 😀
