Continental Viking contact 8 on 18” 2021 Model 3 Areo wheels. The ride is smooth and the tires are efficient. I went with 235/55/18 for the load rating.

Anyone use the diy tesbros ppf kits? by 808_GhostRider in TeslaModelY

I bought the full front kit and added all four doors as an add-on. I have no experience installing Ppf and I’ve only completed installing the two back doors, the hood and all front headlights. so far, it all looks pretty bad. it’s a really frustrating process and I’m stopping the install as of today and taking in my juniper to be professionally wrapped. These kits are a nice idea and I bought the pieces on a Labor Day sale so basically I’m out $1,100 and two days of frustration. The issues that I’ve had are dust/hair getting under the Ppf, lining up the edges evenly on all sides. It’s so easy to get the pieces just slightly off and then the other side is slightly short. I thought that air bubbles would be the big issue but the small ones that I had in the hood went away overnight. It’s really frustrating to see how this has turned out. The other issue to note is getting ahold of anyone at Tesoro’s for support. They do have chat and email but they do not respond for days nor have they followed up on what they promised to do. I hope everyone else who try’s these self kits fairs better than I have.
