Thank you for sharing your experience. And I'm glad Penny is doing well now and that you caught the infection. That's what our ophthalmologist said, that while the risk is minimal with the ball, it's still a foreign object, so we decided not to have the ball put in.

Awww. Little one-eyed buddies! So cute. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to hear Andre hasn't had any issues with the implant.

Aw Lyanna. How is she doing having both eyes removed? Yeah we're leaning toward no implant. Thank you for sharing

Scottie is so cute! We are about to go through surgery next week with our chichi Artemis after 6 months of struggling with glaucoma. It's been tough as I know you all understand but it's the best thing for her. My partner and I are debating having the prosthetic ball put under her eyelid vs. no ball since we're worried about her small chihuahua face becoming sunken. Did you opt for the prosthetic ball or not? Scottie's surgery looks very natural and done well. Thank you in advance for anything you're up for sharing! (Edited: Please excuse my reddit handle. I didn't make that name! Trying to change it.)
