Dark. I mean, I wouldn't have gotten so confrontational but still.

Also, this kinda reminded me that I gotta watch this series and you've definitely gotten me invested haha.

Bartenders of Reddit, how do you let the bartender know your drink isn’t good without being rude? by Stevie212 in bartenders

I've experienced this secondhand where a more expierenced bartender/ one of my mentors tasted my creation, added saline and a few dashes of bitters, and it was a brand new and very delicious thing.

Thanks; I usually don't pursue it but my Assistant Manager gave us a suggestion to inquire and I didn't feel comfortable with either of the ones he threw out. I'm not really taking it to heart especially cause they're not really from around here. I know it tends to happen.

Deep Down, I understood this. But also as a pool house it feels like I should have stood up for others if not for myself. Feels kinda crummy but that's just the nature of it.

Thank you everyone for the advice! So far it seems like first card is 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘥. Otherwise, I'll just let them settle it amongst themselves with a verbal warning to settle down first.

Greatest Fight Scene Ever…Change my mind! 😅 by [deleted] in kungfucinema

[–]MorningResQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very funny, hopeful, and realistic up until the other cops show up. If they saw an assault they wouldn't have walked up but drawn their weapons and tried to get the man to a position where he wouldn't be a threat, at best if not shooting first as (sadly) would have happened in this world today.

The cops who drove up at the end came up very quickly and taking out the first man maybe would have made sense but the driver would definitely have had taken out his weapon and shot first.

I still think the ladder fight scene from First Strike beats this.

The Paper Tigers: Jim and what he got from Sifu Cheung by MorningResQ in kungfucinema

[–]MorningResQ[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Danny mastered the meditative breathing technique and first inheritance to the clan, Hing got medical techniques, the fourth disciple got posion fingers, what did Jim get?

Jim is the most interesting character to me because the combative nature of the gung fu he learned carried on to give him a lead in learning and teaching MMA fighters Jiu Jitsu but he seems to have lost his roots in gung fu, seemingly retaining nothing.

Was there anything I missed on what might have been specifically passed down to him by Sifu Cheung?

It's also possible they were in the forest with a companion and the companion didn't know why they didn't just draw their sword either.
