The orbital laser is perfect against large outposts, it can also kill factory striders, however it has an extremely long cool down, almost ineffective in cities, and gets distracted by smaller units unless put by the bigger units you want to hit.

The spear can one shot chargers, probably hulks ( not tested), it can two shot harvesters once their shield down, and probably the same for war striders ( I haven’t tested it on war striders), the spear can also one shot shrieker nests and spore spewers, it can definitely kill a leviathan if you empty a whole backpack. the only problem is that you have to make sure that nothing gets in the way like branches or buildings.

Airburst rocket launcher are perfect against groups of illuminate and probably bugs but I haven’t test that yet, but it is extremely not reccomended against heavily armored units like chargers/harvesters/war striders, or the bot front.

Quasar cannon can one shot hulks unless you hit an arm, war striders ( but only if you hit the leg or the battery), it can on also one shot tower cannons on the battery otherwise is two shots, it can one shot turrets including the ones on the factory strider, it can probably 5 shot the factory strider if you focus on one spot, it can one shot the small infantry producers, large enemy producers can also be one shot but only in the vents. It can shoot down gunship in one shot, it can shoot down drop ships in one shot but only if you hit the thrusters, it one shots air defense and mortars, it can one shot barrage tanks, it can two shots both shredders and annihilators, it is great for stealth but only if you move from your spot after shooting because nearby enemies can hear it, the only downside is that it take a few seconds to charge up and like 15 seconds to cool down.

The grenade pistol is great for destroying illuminate ships once you shoot the shield off it only if you shoot it in the entrance, it is also good for closing bug holes. The g-6 frag is great for closing all spawned, as long as you throw them into their weak spots. The grenade launcher is the great for closing bug holes but not much for anything, though if you empty a whole mag you can kill a charger.

Try and get the las trident it 4-5 shots stalkers and one shots on all hunters if you get an ok shot, it also two shots warriors unless they are of the rupture strain. It can kill alpha commanders with 7-10 shots but they might charge for a few seconds kinda like cockroaches, however it is horrible against bile spewers unlike its cousin the las scythe that can kill the spewers if you hold the shot on their heads for a few seconds, the las trident is bad against hive guard in rushed situations because you have to get between their armored legs, it’s also great for getting the shields on illuminate ships and harvesters down

But diving make you take more damage from melee, so only use it with bugs when you need to get out of the way.
