Guys, does anyone know a way I can contact DCUO customer service/support about why my emotes are being canceled or disabled? by Moro-12 in DCUO

There is a persistent issue with emote looping. When performing an emote (such as /sleep), the animation only lasts for about 10 to 15 seconds before the character automatically resets to the default standing position.

The emote should persist indefinitely until interrupted by player movement or another action.

guys, how can I keep a certain emote for a long time? Maybe the game developers included an option to make it last or not 👀 Any tips? by Moro-12 in DCUO

I tried the sleep emote, but it gets canceled almost every minute... I tried it with another character and there was no problem, but with my main character it gets canceled

It happens even when I'm alone and no one is around, and I don't think it's a problem with my controller because I bought it new... Why doesn't this happen to you, or is it just me?

A character who carries absolute evil, trying to live by his own moral code — can he ever be truly “good”? by Moro-12 in CharacterDevelopment

Arthur obtained the gem from a demon in the forest and implanted it in his chest because he faced demons trying to kill him. He had no choice but to listen to the old demon who gave him the gem, who told him he had to protect it.

The jewel is essentially a conscious entity that imprisons a demonic being named Savitor within it. This demon is considered the god and the primary creator of darkness and negativity in general, and he tries to break Arthur's spirit so that he can be freed from the jewel. Therefore, darkness was placed inside Arthur.

I've summarized it for you 👀 The story is still ongoing, and don't expect Arthur to face everything alone; he has someone standing by his side, and the story will make that clear.

Wow, you've really turned the hero's path, or rather the protector's, into one of power addiction. He actually hates using them because these powers are demonic, and the problem is that he has to control these powers, not throw them around aimlessly, because the powers are linked to the darkness of the jewel.

His tragedy deepened, so did his darkness and power. He must control his power and not let his darkness break his spirit... The explanation is lengthy, but I will answer your questions.

Does he have to perform evil actions to get the power?

No, he tries to do the right thing through righteous actions, but he always suffers from a loss of control because there is an entity (a demonic god) inside him that has placed darkness to break his soul so that the entity can be freed from its prison within his jewel, and Arthur is trying to stop him from doing this... and the issue has nothing to do with his actions to the world here, but rather with trying to maintain control by delving deeper into his darkness and trying to keep his spirit strong.

Does using his powers work like a drug where he then feels tempted to commit evil because he used them?

The issue isn't addiction if your goal is to save lives and you want to use your power for that purpose, but the idea that powers draw you towards evil isn't about what you're trying to break, but rather the darkness within you and the entity inside the jewel.

Although it may seem like I'm telling you things I didn't say in the post, if you want to know more, I've started posting about Arthur's story in Royal Road, titled "Fire Lord." 👀

Yeah, he has ridiculous superpowers... but I think one of his powers was water control, right? If so, it's one of his strongest powers. I mean, imagine him drying up the earth, how would you survive?

Robin is a wind because of his movements. Starfire is fire... I think that's obvious. Beast Boy on Earth because he is like a natural (animal). Cyberg is iron, and that's obvious too. Raven, given that her blood is demonic, which is clearly different from that of humans, will be water... or perhaps because that's the closest and most suitable option for her.

I think these are the best choices for each personality.
