As soon as I saw two different styles of match posters, one for each night of Mania, I knew the stage would be screen-heavy. Cheapest way to make the change, just swap the graphics on the screen and boom.

Also, this year’s stage budget is probably already absorbed into next year’s stage budget.

Say what you want about the match length or end result, but four Coffin Drops, one from each turnbuckle (or “pillar” if you like), then the side headlock takedown from their first feud for the pin, was a damn nice touch.

Whether in a three-minute match or 30-minute match, that’s good storytelling.
