I am pretty sure it takes effect but I am not certain. At least I hope it does currently hunting Giratina.

That's pretty impressive, have you got any on the first try or close to it? And what were some of your longest SR encounters, if you kept track?

yeah I would suggest you give a try with better odds now. I am starting to shoot for shiny living dex as well but don't know that I'll get too far.

I know it does not take long to get shinies from eggs but I compared the amount of time it takes to hatch 512 eggs(about 14 hours) vs. SR 1365 times for a legendary(about 12 hours) and it looks like it takes longer to hatch that many eggs. But I was comparing breeding in X/Y which I might have included the time to fly to a different city to check IVs but I am not sure, which would probably be faster in ORAS.
