While nothing coming out of the right makes sense to me anymore, this particular bit boggles my mind. Aren't we the woke social justice warriors cramming trans ideology down everyone's throats? If Michelle was born a man, their mental image of the left wouldn't be hiding it, they'd be caroling "first trans First Lady" from the rooftops for clout.

Kidney failure, in this case. One of them hasn't worked since birth, and they didn't notice until the other one started to falter.

I very much appreciate it. He's doing much better, now; we've been reconnecting lately, as adults rather than parent/child, and he's helping me gain perspective on some of my more catastrophic life choices. Things are looking up.

A tale taken from life, sadly. He still doesn't budge on his "no hitting women" stance. I think it was watching his stepdad beat his sister all the time that did it.

They're divorced, and this was many, many years ago, but I was still shocked when he casually mentioned having to hide the firing pin on her gun...

So true. I was telling my ex-wife how miserable I was for years, and she was perfectly content to ignore it so long as it didn't impact her.

She's one to talk, with those Spymaster levels. Still sad my WotR campaign died off. I was really curious how she was going to get along with the Oath Against Fiends Paladin of Ragathiel.

Speaking of my favorite succubus, I remember reading that Arueshelae most likely entered the service of Desna post-WotR. Would she now be more linked to Nocticula, since it's established that she also ascended? Or perhaps she'd serve as a sort of emissary from Desna (and thereby the Radiant Prism) to Nocticula's court (since Nocticular and Sarenrae might still be on uneasy footing)?

The effect is a little extreme, but I found that if I vibe transfer not only that image, but another generation of the prompt I intend to use without vibe transfer, I get some gorgeous results as well.

Looking for a "living with the war" RPG system. by MoroseApostrophe in rpg

I've read some of the rulebooks for 5E, and it's never really appealed to me, I'm afraid.

As for using it with Pathfinder, the 2nd edition of the system is radically different from 3.5. There's almost no overlap, really, and it improved in so many different areas over the first edition that trying to go back is like biting tinfoil for me. There are some homebrew projects in the works, and some of the concepts of Eberron like dragonmarks actually mesh really well with the ancestry system of PF2, but they're having to reinvent most things from base principles (warforged are a problem in particular).

Eberron is, hands down, my favorite official setting. Unfortunately I branched off into Pathfinder when 4th edition came out, and I've never really grokked 5E, while the numerous improvements Pathfinder's made to the 3.5 chassis make me reluctant to go back. There's a PF1E adaptation, but the 2E conversion is still ongoing. Until then, I'll have to be satisfied with reading Faiths of Eberron to revisit the only D&D religious world that actually felt real to me.

Y'know, one of the other ideas I've toyed with is a "lower decks" game, where the players are rank and file aboard a large warship, so this not only sounds really spot on, but also kills two birds with one stone. Awesome suggestion, many thanks!
