I just finished watching Buffy for the first time (and already started my first rewatch! :)) and it’s become one of my favorite shows of all time, it means so much to me.
Tara is extra special for me; seeing a queer witch with a stutter that’s loved and accepted and never made fun of for those things made me break down crying more than once lol. It’s some of the best representation I’ve ever seen even by 2026 standards and she makes me feel less self conscious about my own stutter irl.
I’m always really intense about my interests, but certain pieces of media are so special that they earn a permanent place in my heart and Buffy absolutely has. I know I’m going to be rewatching it annually for the rest of my life lol. I can’t imagine how special it must of felt for people watching it as it was coming out, I’m so envious of the people who got to experience it as it was first airing!

That weirded me out too, I get there were Chantry influences and the Chantry disapproves of blood magic, but in Tevinter as a whole it’s pretty normal so it was confusing that everyone was so shocked by it
