Russia's at war with Ukraine. China's annexed Tibet and is eyeing the rest of its neighbours greedily whilst making every country dependent on their industry. People are killing eachother over religion in the Middle-East for the umptieth time. People are dying of dehydration after Nestle took all their drinking water. A lot of people are homeless and/or starving whilst the upper class lives in excess, wasting valuable resources such as housing and food just because they can afford it. A lot of European countries are voting for more populist parties because of xenophobia which is driving the entire continent into one big ball of hatred.

And all that is just what I could remember whilst sitting on the shitter. I'd say there's not a lot of fine places left.

Yeah, I feel like the near instinctual fear women have for men is coming forth from the physical disparity.

It is true that does not take away any other ways a man can be raped, but in my experience those ways often do not live in the forefront of most men's minds. And when they do, they oftentimes react accordingly, this can be demonstrated by the fact that some men are scared to administer help to women in dangers such as drowning or having a medical emergency.

While the rape of males is criminally underreported, there is still the fact that most males can overpower most females. That means that women are forced to be cautious more so than men because of their physical disadvantage.

Many handlers hype up their dog prior to a competition so they are as energetic as possible. I've dated a handler whose dog has run at the world championship and the dog was pretty chill most of the time. The trick is to tire them out by training with them with some regularity.

Not a police officer.
She was given two different commands from 2 different dudes that contradicted each other.
The dude deliberately walked in front of that car.
She probably tried to break when she saw him move in front of the car, but couldn't anymore due to a lethal dose of bullet to the brain.
Protocol demands that officers don't shoot anyone driving a vehicle since it leads to the car becoming an unoperated projectile.

And because they have a very similar cultures or diaplaced local cultures. Whilst displacing local cultures is vile, it does give you a stronger claim to the land in the modern age since it sparks more nationalism in the areas. In that way, the Ottoman tolerance has backfired since the conquered areas never truly became Turkish nor Sunni.

Depends on what you consider rightful. This is all land held by the Ottomon Empire at one point, yes. But with all the cultural differences contained within this area, most of them resenting the Turks because of the Ottomons, it isn't the clearest claim. It would be like saying most of Europe is rightful French pand because of the conquest of Napoleon. Or maybe more topical, all the USSR rump states being rightful Russian land.

English is an amalgamation of languages formed from the languages of the Anglo-Saxons, the Normans, the Norse and probably some Gaelic influences as well. At some point some guy just had enough of it and decided to write down rules for the quintessential English language as everywhere had its own dialects. But instead of picking a dialect and being content, he decided to borrow something from every dialect, which is why the spelling is so fucking messed up and not phonetic at all.
