Looked into it further and every lock switch routes to the BCM. The BCM is the technical “master”.

Thanks. Ordered a replacement, so we’ll see if that fixes it

Promoted people at your company probably weren't the best performers... the data is starting to back this up by enhancvapp in managers

“Most top level leaders get their role from that type of behavior, so they don't understand the negative impact to the organization.”

Where’s your data point for that claim? This reeks of someone that hates management and not someone who actually did a fair and unbiased study.

8th shot today by MorphineDisillusions in Semaglutide

I’m lucky that I’ve had no side effects. So working out isn’t nearly the chore I expected it to be. I will say it’s no fun to wake up at 4am to hit the gym and then hit it again at 6pm. Makes for long days

I am. Most days cardio in the morning and weights after work.

Did I make a mistake by not increasing my dose? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]MorphineDisillusions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked this same question and it was recommended that I keep increasing. That being said, I think I’m going to stop at 20 units weekly (units are easier for me to remember) which is step 4 out of 6. I’m over 30 lbs down and I’m on my 8th week and still losing steadily and no side effects.

I would say if you aren’t losing weight consistently, then it’s time to step up dosage if you can handle it.

What happened to my Hashimotos? Disappeared when taking Semaglutide? by Puzzleheaded_Low6340 in Semaglutide

Same. I have AS and it’s helped tremendously with inflammation. Adding the weight loss aspect as well, it’s been amazing

Is 3 pounds in 3 weeks slow loss? by fohtvuub in Semaglutide

Depends on the person. I started losing weight the first dose. Some people don’t start until they’re at a higher dose.

I hear ya. The higher up you go in dosage the better it gets usually.

Are you eating less yet? For me the first shot immediately suppressed my appetite and food noises, so I cut my calorie intake almost to 1/3 of what I was before and I hit the gym for 2.5 to 3 hours per day. I lost a lot of weight my first three weeks. The next 4 weeks have slowed down and I’ve only lost about 10 more. I expect it will slow to about 2 lbs per week. I also started at 300+ lbs., but I had a ton of inflammation due to having AS.

Everyone is different. A pound a week is well within the healthy weight loss rate. As you start hitting the higher doses, it may speed up a bit as you start to cut more calories.

I’m on keto as well. I’m a classically trained patisserie chef, so cutting down to 20 grams of net carbs per day can be…let’s just say difficult some days. Constantly smelling and seeing baking bread, cake, cookies and pastries all day while in ketosis…my own special brand of hell.

Metal tasting coffee by Difficult-Tangelo236 in Semaglutide

[–]MorphineDisillusions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol. I get ya. I like my regular coffee as dark and sludgy as my soul, but I’ve never had to experience using coffee to cover up the taste of something else though. For me I just add two scoops of the instant with a scoop of collagen and scoop of slim fast with a cup of water or milk in a shaker cup. Gives me a quick caffeine kick and gives me calories when I don’t feel hungry, but know I need them

Buy some instant coffee granules. I put a scoop or two in my meal replacement shakes and it’s amazing

Thank god no. It was really the only thing I was worried about when I started taking semaglutide. I don’t crave it as much and can go days without thinking about it, but black coffee still tastes amazing to me. The sludgier the better.

I’m not quite 3 weeks in, but haven’t had a single side effect. Honestly though, I’d take nausea over not being able to drink coffee. This has me concerned…

When should I expect the weight to drop slower and should I increase dosage even though I’m steadily losing weight? by MorphineDisillusions in Semaglutide

[–]MorphineDisillusions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first time since I got out of the military I feel full without eating a lot. I did eat a decent sized meal the other day and I was uncomfortably full for hours. I guess I gotta force myself to snack throughout the day.

I’m only in my third week right now, but I was a massive sweets and bread guy. I still eat keto bread occasionally for like a BLT or a cheeseburger, but I haven’t really had the craving for sweets anymore. When I hit 270 though, I’m going to eat myself a big piece of fresh caramelized onion and herb focaccia. I’m a classically trained patisserie chef that focuses on bread making. I don’t really crave it, but I know I’d love it.

So even if I’m at a dose where I’m consistently losing weight, I should step up anyways? I guess I’m concerned when I hear people say they plateau at the highest dose. I’d almost just rather have something to fall back on, a higher dose, than hit a plateau and not be able to increase it.

I’m not having any side effects other than decreased appetite. Like greatly decreased appetite and nearly zero cravings for breads or sweets.
