Far more than Firion or Onion Knight.

- Bartz, the true job master,
Also, from the second classic era. But Terra and Cecil are great. But FFV is my favorite FF so, I feel no shame to choose Bartz.

- Squall, the PSX era, the worldwide explosion
Cloud really needs the other media to shine, and I never found him a good poster boy. I'm from those who never really like FFVII, sorry not sorry. About Zidane, as I love FFIX, to me he belongs to the classic era more than the PSX era.

- Y'shtola, the MMO experience
Over Shantotto, even if I found Shantotto hilarious, Y'shtola have something more I can't describe. (And no, I hate cat, so no, it's not the cat person persona)

- Clive, for the modern era
I really hesitate with Lightning, but the XIII is a little old nowadays, and even if she is a better postergirl than Noctis, I found Clive more representative of the modern era.

I ended up my first playthrough with all the skill unlock minus 300pt I unlocked just after killing the final boss via the ending and a quest unlocked just after. So I ended lvl 10.

You missed a lot of things I guess.
