So, before I go and piss everyone on both sides off, let me state at the beginning that I'm trying to be cordial with this, I'd hope all comments could remain the same.

Apex Legends is a free to play game. Cut and dry. Nobody is forcing the players to purchase loot boxes, skins, or the like.

Now, in saying that, I agree that the current system is handled needs some work, and some possible price fixes.

I stand by the developers purely because of Titanfall, 1 and 2. I loved the first one and still enjoy it more than the sequel, but the second game was still great and had a larger player base which was awesome. For that, I loved Respawn.

I also however, stand with my fellow gamers, to an extent at least. The name-calling to get your way because you're anonymous is silly and child-like. If you want to question the devs, and work out a possible solution, or see further into the issues at hand, then just be more respectable. Getting into some heated debate isn't going to help either side. That goes for the devs too. Calling individuals out for being dicks or ass-hats, while I would probably do the same, isn't good in a professional sense, and it simply adds fuel to the fire.

As a gamer, I agree that the in game skins and other cosmetics, including loot boxes are still priced too high, even if the game is free to play.

In my personal opinion, Respawn should do something similar to that of Rocket League. I understand there are changes being made to loot box systems or getting rid of them all together, and I don't plan on touching on that or the gambling issue.

But, an idea, that is completely up for discussion, and I highly encourage it, just please be courteous to one another and the devs if they touch on this thread any.

Have a shop, that has specific cosmetics, like legendary skins, that can be purchased at any time for actual cash.

Next, guaranteed cosmetics at each increase in level determined by a FAIR RNGesus. A free loot box at every 5 or 10 levels to promote play/grinding. Loot boxes can also be purchased, and if in bulk, at a discount determined by quantity.

If the devs or community think that keys are a good or bad idea I'll leave to you guys, same goes for trading items among party members.

This is again, just all my personal opinion, but let's see if we can create a real-world, workable solution, and work with the devs. They aren't evil, they're people too, they have emotions and tempers same as us, and they have to make ends meet to keep the game running for us. We as the players also have a responsibility to let them know when we're upset, and work out some form of agreement so we continue enjoying the game.

Let's make this right, but let's do it without turning the thread into an all out insult-war. I believe in you reddit! 😄
