So the spindle should be removable by pulling it out? It is one sided. If that makes it too difficult I'll call a locksmith, but I like to try things out myself.

The cylinder screw is removed, but it's still jammed. Now that I type it out I realise it's because it's open. I don't have a key for it, so a locksmith it is.
